At the baseball game, Quantum double charged me and said it's the tax. Tax is not double or 100%, it is in fact around 8%. I noticed right after I put my card in. I asked why is the amount almost double and the black man said the card machine just does whatever it wants and he can't do anything about it. I am confused by this answer but I remain silent while he tries to get the card machine to load and show me the tax. It takes at least a minute. I said to him "but that means the tax would be 100% or double". Finally he gives me the correct total but never showed me what he was waiting to show me. I asked him if I was charged the first time and the black woman making cotton candy behind him starts yelling at me that I was not over charged and that my card was not charged. I say nothing. But she keeps yelling at me and repeating herself. I'm assuming this is just her personality and she's not mad at me because why would she be. But she keeps repeating and yelling at me and people are staring. I told her calmly that it sounds like she's yelling at me. She's yells more. I told her she sounds mad. She yells more. So I yelled back that they DID try to double charge me but lucky for me I can READ. Then she says she's calling her boss to kick me out. They cancel my purchase and run down to the white guy watching the bounce house and tell him not to let my kids in. I WISH I was wearing a camera because this is CRAZY. There must be cameras somewhere that captured this lunacy. I am completely bewildered by her actions to what I thought was an honest mistake. But people who make honest mistakes don't yell at their customers for their own mistakes especially when the customer is not mad or making accusations. So do these workers get paid commission and that's why they were mad when I caught the "mistake"? Both of 2 workers were so mad at me like they're in cahoots. This was personal to them. The guy watching the bounce house was the only respectful one and he let my kids jump and slide even after they told him not to. And since the front workers canceled my purchase - all 3 jumped for FREE.

Went to visit friends in Charleston and went to a Dirty Birds game. We had a great time.

GoMart Ballpark is a must visit if you're ever in Charleston, WV. No matter the time of year there is always something to do there. Whether you're there to check out a Dirty Birds game in the spring/summer or light the night through the winter, you won't be disappointed with your visit!

I didn't necessarily visit the ballpark, I parked at the parking garage nearby to watch the after game fireworks!

My family and I have been to Appalachian Power Park for two different events. The “Light the Night” Christmas lights and the Easter egg hunt that was also done. Both events were so incredibly fun for the whole family to get out and have a blast in a spacious area full of wonderful adventures!

Slowest concession lines of ALL TIME. If you come to watch a baseball game, plan on watching the back of the person's head in front of you in the food line instead of baseball

I love the Christmas lights at GoMart Ballpark. The lights displays were beautiful. I would go to see them again.
