“A restaurant supplier who breaks things down so you don't have to buy monster sizes. Another perk, most suppliers I've visited you have to know exactly what you want as it isn't a grocery store where you can browse. While the store is not particularly big it does allow you to physically walk the store and shop. You won't be able to get all your weekly shopping done here but it does offer good/great prices and access to mostly restaurant quality foods with a focus on but not limited to steaks/seafood/soups/pies. Personally, I think it is a great suppliment for the average consumers grocery.”

“I had a really great experience a Food Lion today. Last night I went shopping, but when I got home, a couple of the items I had purchased were missing. I assumed I left them at the store, so today I went in to investigate. I spoke with the lady at customer service, and after showing her the receipt, she let me go and grab the items I had lost. Since losing the food was almost certainly my fault, and since the items I lost were the most expensive charges of the order, I was not expecting Food Lion to replace the items.
It was a really nice gesture of trust that I really, really appreciate. Inwood Food Lion will now be my go to grocery store.”
“Great place to exercise, even for Seniors like myself. Senior equipment is in the front and other equipment for the younger crowd is in the back. There are classes and and other things going on all the time. If you have Silver Sneakers like I do, you can go to any One Fitness gym anywhere in the country for free. The staff is great, helpful and always up for a conversation!!”

“Amazing!! We don’t have a good dollar general near us so we traveled to this one. We walked in and it’s very big!! It was all stocked up and had a variety of stuff, which surprised us cause other dollar generals we have visited are small, barely stocked, and don’t have a lot of stuff.The employees were very nice! The lady doing cash register on 10/15/2023 at 5:00 pm was very kind and kept good small talk with us. I always like it when employees have conversations with us and actually seem to care!”

“This is a great store over all, but if you need anything from behind the checkout counter, depending on the shift and who's working you could be waiting a good while. They strongly rely on self check out and often have to be found to come help up front.”
“This store is defiantly less cluttered and cleaner than the bunker hill or north Queen stores. But it still has its days. Thus may be a corporate problem I don't think there are enough staffers it seems there always short handed and workers are stocking shelves between customers. Over all the Pikeside plaza Dollar General store is my favorite out of the ones in my area.”
“One of the cleanest stores in the area. I will purposely drive out of my way to go to this one instead of the one in the center of Winchester City.
Just make sure your prices scan in correctly. As with any store nowadays, there's a chance the online price and the in-store prices don't match.”
“Very nice and when I was looking everywhere for my baby formula they had called me back to let me know they had it and they are truly a life saver because I was looking everywhere for my baby formula and everywhere was out of it very nice friendly and very clean store I will be back and had also requested to have the formula my baby on saved for me and they said they will do it thank god for this store”

“Small store, but has a lot for it's size.. My go to shopping.. I have a Food lion about a mile from where I live, but will travel up rt 45 to go here.. people that work there are super nice.. Bakery is really good..
Other customers there are generally nice and good local people..

One of those individuals was actual working all three stations at one time while the other one was dealing with something different. They need more help.”
