Beautiful place, clean cabin, loved the fresh egg and smore stand. Feels like being far away but literally only about 8 miles from nearest town where you can get anything you may have forgotten. Minutes away from Cooper's Rock State Park. Will definitely be going back!!!

This was our first trip to West Virginia and we want to thank the owners of Mountain Creek Cabins for making our stay a memorable one! We loved the Caleb Cabin and how secluded it was from the other cabins. The kids enjoyed exploring the area, including the creek. Cabin was so charming and clean. We have plans to come back.

Husband and I stayed at Maple Tree cabin, which is a small, cozy cabin. We liked the location however, it is close to the other cabins. The kitchen was well equipped with everything you need to prepare meals. The cabin was clean, wifi worked great and the hot tub was a plus. We loved having a fire near the creek at night and a covered back porch to enjoy breakfast and dinner outside. A couple of things we noted for improving were-the grill worked good but really needed cleaned, the firepit needed to be cleaned out and there was only one chair by the firepit. We were a bit surprised that we were expected to strip the bedding and had to take the garbage out (which entailed putting 2 bags of garbage in the back of my vehicle and driving it to the dumpster). For the rental price, that should have been included. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent again if we come to the area.

Bobcat Cabin Did Not Disappoint.
Very rural.. Natural and "off the beaten path" exactly what we looked for.

Family of 15 rented 3 cabins for a long weekend together. Cabins were perfect. Setting along the creek allowed time to play in the water. Evenings around the fire pit was very relaxing. For the grandparents the bed was very comfortable. A/C wasa plus as the weather was warm. Also hot tubs were an added plus. We all traveled to Laurel Caverns which was worth the trip. All in all I would give the accommodations and location 4 stars.

Stayed in Caleb Cabin with our pup. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and bath. Cabin was clean, bedding fresh, quiet area. Enjoyed hot dogs and marshmallows on the fire, it's been a long time since we did that. Short drive to Cooper's Rock state park and Cheat Lake. Stopped in at Bruceton Mills Antiques which had a big selection. Would stay at the cabins again.

We love a mountain creek cabin and this place delivered. We were in White Tail cabin and it had a nice fire pit right by a nice creek. Nothing like sitting by a creek watching a roaring fire and hearing all the sounds of nature.
This location is truly remote. There is good signage to guide your way to the area of the cabins. However, please know that you will not be running out for food, fast food, groceries needed supplies. Be sure you have all of that with you when you decide to head to the cabin
The cabins are well equipped to do cooking and they are very comfortable for your stay. But again you are in a very remote area and you need to enjoy nature and isolation as we do. You do have Internet and cable TV in your cabin.
The owners are quick to reply to any needs you have. You are in the vicinity of Cooper’s Rock State Park. We would go out in the morning and do our sightseeing and then come home when we were finished for the day.

This was our 4th time at Mountain Creek Cabins because we love everything about it. The cabins are mostly secluded and all have hot tubs! We also love the relaxing sound of the creek that runs along all of them. We even bought some of their farm fresh eggs this time and they were great!
Nearby activities: We rented kayaks at Padlz which was less than 20 mins away.
Also went to Cooper's Rock overlook.

We had a wonderful experience at Mountain Creek Cabins. We stayed in the Black Bear Cabin. The Cabin was very clean inside and out. I expected webs on the porch, but it was swept clean! We appreciated being able to go right to the cabin and not having to check in first. There are movies, games, books and magazines in the cabin, which was nice. Only one complaint is that the hot tub was pretty dirty and really needed a good clean and maybe some better chemicals. This did not prevent us from enjoying it and would not stop us from visiting Mountain Creek Cabins again!
UPDATE:
We just visited the same cabin again. Still great! Some really nice updates. Hot tub was much cleaner this time. Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean and quiet. We are planning on returning for a family vacation. The only issue we had was where to discard the trash at the end of our stay. The map in the book did not give the best directions from the cabin to the trash receptacle.

What a wonderful cabin and wonderful weekend. Cabin was even better than what we expected. Great location, very well kept, and peaceful. Will hopefully be returning!
