We traveled across the US in an RV and stopped all sorts of our rv parks. This one tied for our favorite, but for completely different reason.
While the other one had all the amenities and amazing bathhouses/pool, this one felt like authentic camping in the wilderness and brought nature to life.
I highly recommend spending the extra money to have a river front spot. We went fly fishing right when we woke up.
The owner lives in a house on the property and is amazing. When we arrived late she came over to check in on us and see if we needed anything. We needed firewood, so she opened up the shop for us!
She also told us about different hiking trails and the a train that you can take to the top of the mountain.
There are also very friendly ducks, rabbits and even a muskrats on the property!
My only caveat is this is a “no frills rv park.” The shop is incredibly cute, but don’t expect much when it comes to the restroom/showers.
At the same time, it’s also probably why you get such a great rate!

People who run it are rude ,and try to charge you 10.00 a person if they come to visit. Also watch for other charges , We've had our reunion here ,and have never had a problem, until new owner took over.
Not a good place to stay,
Used to be !

Me and my family just found this place this summer. We absolutely love it there. The staff are really nice. The owners go above and beyond to keep the grounds clean and kepted up. There's all kinds of free games for the family. And all the ducks and bunnies add that special touch.

My group rented the Moose cabin. We brought our Dirt Bikes to ride the local trails and roads. The cabin was great. Clean and comfortable. The hot tub was a welcome feature at the end of a long day. The resort seems very family oriented and is located on the Shavers Fork river. Several of our group are interested in renting 2 cabins next year and bringing their fishing gear.

We went to Revelle's on our second camper outting. We had a lot of fun. Nyx really enjoyed getting to be off leash in the dog park, and making a new friend. It has a LOT of permanent sites. It was neat seeing all the different campers.and set ups. Not really our style, but interesting. We enjoyed our walks seeing everything, train watching as also fun. Wish I had my camera when it went by on one of our walks. We were there during one of the stocking weekends, which was neat to see. Though beware when getting a site on the water, people fishing have free access to walk through your site. That was a bit uncomfortable a few times... plus I didn't want to take my Pup in the creek and deal with all the people fishing. That was a bit disappointing. No cell service, though randomly I had roaming. Wifi is at the camp store, which I had to use for my check ins with family. It was very pretty, and we really enjoyed our rainy days there as it was extra quiet. The camp store had hot mini donuts, that was pretty neat. A few times their texts would come through about the donuts or the ice cream they put on sale as it was the end of the year and the camp store was closing for the season. It was a different camp experience. Definitely noticed the human kids loved the play areas.
Walkability: We walked the CG road daily for our exercise without issues.

My husband and I stayed at frost free winter site. We love being able to visit Elkins in the winter. The resort people were very kind and helpful. We will be back. One suggestion if possible to try to get internet. I realize you are located in the valley and this may not be possible. We were happy you had cable.
