They was planning to come to SC in a few days to visit us. Due to the call they had to leave in a hurry. She found out she had a screw in a tire and had to get it repaired( she was also hauling the 5th wheel back here). She went to Jesse's shop and she left feeling shocked and grateful. “12/10 if I break down in West Virginia again I will be calling these outstanding people. I cant rave about their care and assistance enough. I was towing from South Carolina to Ohio and threw a water pump near Charleston. They assisted with towing my trailer and truck to where they needed to be, stored my trailer and load while the truck was repaired, and even stayed late to assist me in getting it back and heading out on the road again. If there was 6 stars, I would be still be wanting for more stars.”
“I have never said this about any mechanic: Trust these guys. Ten stars.This place was my only option in a pinch because the situation I was in made it the only place within walking distance for me to leave my vehicle while caring for my two small children. I had no choice and no information, I have been screwed by so many mechanics that I was honestly pessimistic and dreading the outcome. I was a walk in on a busy day having literally just seen their shop by chance. I didn't bother giving them a sob story because that usually just makes mechanics screw you over even worse I just hoped for the best. They took care of me within 2 hours, they charged me what I know to be the bare minimum, almost what I expected to pay if I had the time and tools with me myself. They diagnosed a long standing problem with my vehicle and told me about it up front without acting like they should be the ones to repair it, and told me exactly what part I needed to replace being as it was one I could replace myself. I can't say enough about how grateful I am for this place, I am actually kinda pissed at myself that it took this long for me to remember to write the review here. Sorry guys. I'll be back in soon. “Saved our vacation…and on a holiday weekend! Helped us with a camper trailer tire that lost significant air unexpectedly half way to our destination. After finding ourselves downtown, towing a trailer to the closest opened tire shop we end up on a rd unexpectedly closed for the holiday parade & the tire place wouldn’t service a trailer tire or even help us put the spare on so we changed to our spare ourselves using boards as a makeshift jack in the middle of the rd. After backing into a drive thru to turnaround, we sought out another tire shop to buy a replacement so we could continue the trip with a spare onboard. Found Garrett’s right before closing time & know it was a blessing to find such caring & helpful technicians to help us. Had our needed tire in stock, insisted on mounting on our rim so it would look nicer than the spare & installed it within minutes, topped off our spare with air & helped us remount it for next time, wishing us safe travels & a good vacation. Couldn’t be happier with their help!”

“I'm from out of town, and was on the way home from vacation, when my vehicle broke down on the freeway. I was towed to Moses Cadillac Buick GMC there in Charleston. Jackie and his technicians worked on my vehicle's unique issue. It was electrical and ended up being the ECM, which was on back order. Which meant it could be 2 days to a couple months. But, we found a part and it was shipped overnight. It was successfully programmed and installed and got me up and running.
While all this took about 2 weeks, as I mentioned I live about 160 miles away, Jackie kept me inform of the current situations and the progress the whole time. it was a real pleasure working with Jackie and his guys there at Moses. And as a bonus, Jackie was on duty that Saturday went we picked up our vehicle, it was nice to shake his hand.”

“I am a Paranormal Investigator and I was on my way to a location that was still quite a few hours away when my oil light came on which was strange due to I always watch my gauges plus before any long trips that I will be alone, my husband(and sometimes myself) will always check everything. He did an oil change, topped off all fluids and I could go on forever. Anyway, I ended up pulling off the next available exit with a gas station and it was an Exxon in Big Chimney, West Virginia. Now it was very early morning due to driving through the night so I pulled in and popped hood to check oil but after checking 4 times, it was showing it was okay plus no smoke, leaks or anything I could see. Decided to go in the store and just grab 2 quarts since this was just the first 7 hours of a long drive and long weekend of investigations. Store was small but well kept and I was tired so I asked the cashier if they carried quarts of oil, she was so friendly and told me yes then showed me right where to go. I knew what I needed but she was sweet enough to say that there are 2 types and I assured her that I knew I needed non-synthetic plus they wouldn't have the normal one we use but in a pinch, you do your best? I grabbed 2 quarts and went to counter while she rang me up, I was amazed that she even provided 2 paper funnels for the oil I purchased. We chatted a bit about why I was out in West Virginia and we talked about some stuff she had going on. Meanwhile, she said hello to every person walking in and seemed to know each one. I'm from New Jersey and I'm not trying to say we don't have nice people but I love how nice people are in a lot of areas I travel. To the management/owner of this Exxon, her name was Chasitie and I have to say that she was a pleasure to talk to, truly cared about what was going on and she was sweet to EVERYONE!! Chasitie is a definite people person and you should be proud to have her as an employee. I've marked this town on my maps because I will be in that area again soon and I will be stopping by to say hi and fuel up. Luckily, it looks like my sensor has gone bad and will be replacing it tomorrow?. I was there on a Saturday morning(have to look at receipt for the time but it was early) and the date was April 6, 2024. Chasitie made my pit stop at Exxon a pleasure and I even have a rewards card now, still need to finish signing up though. As nice as she was and so caring, how could I say no to a rewards card that she explained all about it to me. Thank you Chasitie, I got through the Friday to Monday trip for the 2 West Virginia investigations and I still have my 2 quarts with the disposable paper funnels. You made my day bright and I loved the service.”
