The Historic Star Theatre is a meticulously preserved movie theater showing films on the big screen since 1928, serving as a museum as much as a theater. It offers a unique and authentic classic experience from the popcorn to the seats, where guests enjoy new releases in old world style. The famously served popcorn is made in a 1949 Manley Popcorn Machine, dripping with pure butter and is very tasty. The theater is very clean with comfortable seats, a really decent size screen, and a bigger auditorium than expected. The audio and image quality are great, though the volume can be a little loud. There are plenty of different snacks to choose from and adult drinks are available. The owners are friendly, fun, kind, and welcoming, with a clear love and passion for movies. The service is excellent. The theater is very open and accepting of everyone. It provides a wonderful, fun experience with great charm, making it a highly recommended place to visit for locals and out-of-town visitors alike.
Very helpful and enthusiastic in helping fellow artists to create great art!

A truly wonderful theater, at absolutely amazing prices. Two tickets, popcorn, candy, soda, and beer all came in under $50. Will absolutely be back!

Went here on Christmas Day to watch White Christmas. This place is great. It is a historic theater which supports local arts as well as arts education for local students. Great time had by all. And they have blankets if you get cold.
