Ripoff. Stopped to have a watch battery put in my mid-level watch. Not a luxury brand. Was told it would be $49.95 to have a battery replaced because they now have a “Tier” system and my watch was a Tier 3. Said “no way”. Went to a local jeweler downtown and they replaced it for $10.00 even. Will not go back after the scam they tried to pull.

Don't waste your time. I drove two hours to bring a watch down for repair. The only guy who works there ( not sure of his name) sat there while I stood for ten min before noticing me. He then determined he could not fix it because all 6 hands wasn't there. As you see in my photo below they are. I guess if the guy couldn't see me then obviously he wouldn't be able to see all 6 of these hands. I then had to ask for my box back because he didn't even bother to put my watch back in it. This is a poor excuse of a business!!! Go some place where they know what they are doing because this place isn't it !!!!

It's been over an hour walking laps around the mall waiting for employee to show up to work this is the second trip I've made to the mall just to get a watch battery and a new watch it be nice if their employees were actually where they were supposed to be doing their job when they were supposed to be doing it. Definitely lost a customer for life

So after finding this review, I was there the day the lady was asked to kindly step back in a friendly tone. She had been posted up on the corner of the both for 25 minutes ignoring the girl that worked there as she waited on customers. When the lady was asked to step away, the none customer rudely screamed the the girl working and loudly cursed at her making a scene in the mall, because she was embarrassed after being told to please step away. Dakota has always helped me with my watches for the last ten years. Don’t blame a company for a pompous customer that wants to hurt the reputation of some one else.

New rating 4 stars: So I happen to be in the mall and saw that there was a different employee working the counter so I went and asked if they could put a new battery in my watch. He said, "No problem, it'll take me 10 mins." 10 mins later, I had my watch with a new battery. I mentioned that the other girl from before had told me they couldn't replace pocket watch batteries and he informed me that because of the new management that they hadn't had time to train their employees very well yet. He apologies for the inconvenience and gave me a discount and a coupon for next time. I walked away feeling very satisphyed with my visit. Rerating this to 5 stars, as long as the girl with pink hair isn't operating the booth.Before one star: I have been going to the watch stand at the mall for about 18 years. I've got a pocket watch that needs a new battery every other year. I have never had any trouble there. They pop the back off, put a new battery in, put the back on, done. 5 mins. Great service. However, I went in last week and the lady at the counter said that she was new and didn't know how to replace a pocket watch battery but that maybe the guy in the morning shift would know how. Not that big a deal. I went in today and the same lady was working the counter and I figured, "Hey, I'll just leave the watch here and pick it up later when someone else can fix it." So I tell the lady I want a new watch battery. She looks at the pocket watch and says, "we can't do that." I said, "I've been bringing this watch here for years, there has never been a problem before." She responds, "we're under new management. The guy who used to replace pocket watch batteries wasn't suppose to and he's not there anymore." So I asked, "Ok, what can I do? Do I call the corprit office and send in my watch to get a new battery?" She said, "I don't know." I looked up at the sign on the stand that Cleary says, Replace batteries and bands while you wait. I am very frustrated with this "new management".

I was rudely asked from some lady not to lean on the counter... She acted like she absolutely hated me, and I think this place could use friendly workers. I would have gladly moved if asked politely. I’d never recommend this place. Period.

Went to the barboursville mall on Father’s Day to buy 3 watches (I always buy watches from this company) and waited 1 HOUR , the boot had a sign saying “We will return shortly” yeah 1 HOUR later and nothing..
