I had a coupon in the dollar general app to use at the check out. It was actually my first time using the app, so I wasn’t sure exactly how to use it at the register. I had to wait quite a while just to even check out because there was a line and of course the self-checkout is always “not working”. I asked the manager Myra if I am supposed to put my phone number in before or after she scans the items. Might I add, she also did not seem friendly or say anything when I first arrived at the register. She proceeds to rudely say she has to scan the items first. She did not say it in a kind way whatsoever; she looked at me in an extremely irritated way and said it as if I should’ve known how it worked. I did not appreciate the customer service they were providing, and I believe they need to be more respectful towards their own customers. The employees, especially the store manager, shouldn’t get aggravated just because they have to do their job.

Always clean and well stocked.
Edit: store is always half stocked, half sitting in pallets around the store. The airs been out for a month. Bring cash they almost never have the registers working correctly. The self check out is broken most of the too. Better off driving to the store in Pipestem

They change their phone number every 6 months and when it would be nice to call and see if they sell a certain item instead of driving all those miles for nothing it's a disconnected number again. Grrrrrr!!

Went to the cashier to pay for my items. Handed the cashier a $50. She immediately started looking me over and gave me a weird look. Then she started holding my 50 in the air to look through the light. She then was comparing my 50 to the other 50s in the drawer. I almost asked for my money back and walked out. It was very disrespectful to me. I get that people do give counterfeit money but to avoid making me stand there for over 5 minutes and feel like a criminal to investigate my 50 and give me weird looks all she had to have was a counterfeit marker like most other stores. I didn't appreciate the way I was treated.

Absolutely love this store. The staff is so helpful and friendly. It is also very clean and it is easy for you to find whatever you are looking for.

I went in before work to get 2 items. I went to check out stood for 5 minutes no big deal I heard an employee stocking I walked to the end of the isle and politely asked for help. The elder woman with grey hair and glasses threw the box down and yelled I’m coming! I apologized and went back to the register. She comes tells me my amount I pay with my card. She rudely yells at me that I should of used self check out ( which wasn’t working) and for wasting her time checking me out. She threw my bag down on the counter and then threw the receipt in my face. Will not be back.

This Dollar General is very clean, organized, and well stocked. I often find items here that I don't find at other locations. I enjoy shopping here.

This place is close to Concord university so I guess for alot of people it's in a good location the selection is large the only downside to this place is that the aisles are very narrow but if you are looking for a cheap place and don't want to drive to princeton or bluefield to shop I would recommend this place
