Have used Zillah Vet and Dr. Sam for years. All 3 of my dogs. Staff is friendly. Prices are reasonable. My favorite part is Dr. Sam always gives you options. Plan A start less invasive or Plan B get the X-rays, scans, surgery whatever it may be. She informs you so your level of concern and budget can choose accordingly. Highly recommended!

I have used this vet clinic for over 10 years and have typically been very happy. I think the doctor/ doctors have been amazing to multiple dogs I had. The down side of it is not being able to be seen especially when already an established patient. Last time I was seen my fur baby was on a not if but when he was ready to cross the rainbow bridge timeline. We would keep him comfortable until he showed otherwise. I made a call 5-4-24 at almost 9am and the person who answered the call never ask me for any information but was an immediate NO. I never felt so helpless watching my fur child looking at me for help. He was fine up until that morning with the night before playing with the kids and chasing them. His eating and drinking fluids was good. After making the call to urgent care for animals he had crossed the rainbow bridge. Im so happy they took the few minutes with me to help him when needed most.
I hope this is something that can be changed for current and future clients for the Zillah Vet
Clinic. - all in all it is a good doctor, I just wish the outcome would have been different.

Dr. Sam and her clinic run a great operation. I read other reviews frustrated about not being from the area and not having access to care, but honestly there are specific emergency clinics in Yakima and Kennewick just for that. We were able to make an appointment and be seen same day. It seems to me she is committed to her community and is careful to only take on new patients if she can provide good service. That seems very thoughtful and intentional. After meeting her and her team personally I can say we will be coming back. Excellent care for our two collie pups that is much appreciated.

This place is about the $ MONEY$ and NOT YOUR PET! Pets are our Best friends/companions and they don’t deserve to be pushed aside when they are suffering! If yr pet gets sick or hurt don’t bother Dr. Sam. I was shocked and disgusted when she left our cat suffering bc “there is only one of her”…the #1 thing I think we don’t want is our pets to suffer…and she doesn’t want to deal with it. It’s not keeping her up at night and it’s not going to keep her 15 min past closing time either. I would give this place zero⭐️?

A month and a half ago I took my english bull dog in. She said he had pnuemonia and a miss shaped heart. Two weeks go by no improvement. He was declining very fast I had to take him to the animal hospital in tri cities. He did not have pneumonia or a mishaped heart. He had a severe ear infection in both ears. With all the medicine and help from our new vet in the end he could not walk or eat . Today I had to put my boy down. 6 weeks ago if she checked his ears, he could have had a better chance. His name is duke.

We took our Corgi into the vet and Dr Sam was phenomenal. Our boy has always been shy around "strangers" but he absolutely loved Dr. Sam, she "knelt to his level" offered small bites of a treat (with our approval). She was calm, reassuring and explained everything to my husband & myself. Our Corgi is like our baby and we would not take him anywhere that wouldn't allow us to go in with him. The entire staff was caring and considerate and very reassuring. My "babies won't go anywhere else"!!!

Dr Sam is far and away the best Vet I have ever had. She keeps our boys in tip top shape, and they genuinely love her. I would recommend Dr Sam vehemently to anyone that wants the same loving and professional medical care for their pets as they would for any family member. You won't regret it.

Wow, best vet EVER!!!! (can I give 6 stars?)My dog Cash was having an issue the day before I was supposed to leave for a week and she was able to squeeze him in last minute to look at him. That may not seem like a thing but based on how many people were in the waiting room, and cars in the parking lot, she obviously had a lot of appointments that day so her willingness to find 10 minutes is greatly appreciated! To make it more amazing, her obvious love and passion for helping animals was so so evident. Her calming nature towards Cash was amazing!! Even though she was swamped, Dr. Sam was super friendly and compassionate to Cash and myself. Most other vets (or people) would have let their hectic day show in being gruff or impatient, neither she nor her office manager Theresa allowed one ounce of anything other than "we got you."Upon talking to her during the examination I found out she is the only Vet in her practice. Seriously?!?! I don't know how she does it all while keeping the welcoming and helping demeanor!! I highly recommend Dr. Sam! I just wish there were more Vets like her!!!

Dr. Sammi is honesty one of the best vets I’ve worked with, I’ve been a licensed breeder for over 15yrs an have worked closely with a number of vets over the years an out of all vets in Washington an some in Oregen she is the Best, she always takes her time an really explain anything I have questions about, does a very thorough job checking each an everyone of my puppies, I have always been able to be seen anytime I’ve needed it, not only that but by far the most reasonable prices compared to any vet around!! Dr. Sammi treats all my fur babies as if they are her own a they truly love her.

I took our 8 year old Chihuahua to see Dr. Sam. He hasn’t been to the vet in a very long time. I was so nervous, but the Dr. and the assistant were so nice and patient. They listened to my concerns, and answered my questions. The lady at the front desk was friendly :) I can tell they love their job and love the animals. Thank you Zillah vet clinic! Our fur baby will be a patient there from now on

Dr. Sam and the staff at Zillah Veterinary Clinic are outstanding. Dr. Sam takes the time to listen and understand her 4 legged patients and their 2 legged parents, and is thorough and gentle in her administration of care. We are so lucky to have a vet of this high caliber in our area.

Our, now senior, dog Brodie has had nothing but excellent care from Dr. Sam and the entire staff at Zillah Veterinary Clinic. From a major surgery to regular office visits. I wouldn’t take him anywhere else! Our town is blesses to have them in our community.As for coming in without an appointment for an “emergency “… it happens. Let me ask…can you just drop into your physicians office for an emergency situation? NOPE! You have to go to the ER or urgent care office. Same applies to your pet! I have had to do so myself when my little guy ingested something he wasn’t suppose to. The pet emergency clinics (yes there is more than one) are located in Yakima.

Amazing vet clinic. The people are caring and helpful. She always helps my animals when they need to be brought in. She saves my little French bulldog puppy when she was on her death bed.
