Ended up stranded with a flat tire and no key for the locking lug nuts so I came here to try and get a tire to get me by that didn't break the bank since I didn't have much after arranging a tow and everything. They were able to work with me and get me a very reasonably priced tire and got it in and out quicker than any place I've been. The customer service was phenomenal. I am truly grateful and will definitely be coming here when it comes time to replace all 4 tires.

I went in to swap out a loose tire and as always the experience was perfect. Both Wendy and Dee were knowledgeable when I called in and everyone was friendly when I came in. I had to run a quick errand and without an appointment they had my tire ready to go when I returned. Thanks guys!

Why do people still use Les Swabs? Walt's has the same great customer experiance as them. Walt's does a lot more, and better. Ones experiance I had...I wanted polished rims on my challenger, Les only carried black rims and couldn't/wouldn't order them. Off to Walt's. Alignment, tie rods cams, tires, rims.
Enigine work though, suggest Turners in Rainier. To you all, support the local owned business's And if they do support your business, make,sure they are going to come back. Right, because some people don't shop around, some do.

We are getting ready to PCS and started noticing a loud whining sound coming from our car. With a little bit of research it sounded like it was a transmission problem. We called our warranty to make sure we had coverage if that was the problem, and called Walt’s to see if this was something they could work on through the warranty. Given their good reputation we thought we would be safe bringing our car here for repairs. The manager told me on the initial call that they can replace transmissions but DO NOT TAKE THEM APART. She stated that usually they can work with the warranty to replace it if they can determine the noise/issue is coming from the transmission without needing to take it apart.
After having our vehicle for a week they took it for a test drive and then called us and told us they would need to take the transmission apart and spend 13 hours labor = $2,300 just to DIAGNOSE it and THEN get the transmission replaced through the warranty. We told them that was not doable and we would have to pick it up and try something else.
They charged us $160 diagnosis fee, after telling us to diagnose they would have to take it apart, after they told us they don’t even take them apart - on top of our oil change when all they actually did was take the car for a test drive and Google the sound. Same thing we did, same thing we told them before we ever brought it in. The new girl that was checking us out when we picked it up agreed with us that they had not diagnosed anything and would discuss it with the manager when she got back from vacation, but we had to pay the full bill to get the car back. When we finally called and got ahold of the manager she was extremely rude and refused a refund. They wasted two weeks of time that our family DOES NOT HAVE TO SPARE and charged us for doing nothing but taking it for a test drive and “spending quite a bit of time on the phone with your insurance company”. They left all sensors tripped and car was driving worse after we picked it up.
They’ve had our business for the last few years we have lived in Yelm but not anymore. This was shady business practice. Unless you need a tire fixed or an oil change - steer clear!! They’ll charge you for nothing and leave you worse off than before you came in.

Walts Point S is the best ! I had the hardest time finding parts that fit and worked for my Infiniti, the team took the time to go out of their way to find the parts I needed even when i looked myself for months. My vehicle is finally back on the road and running in tip top shape. Thanks guys - my new family.

Very over priced for the simple job of putting new tires on cost me $460 ish and it took them all day to do it I dropped my truck off at 8:30am and walked to work luckily had a coworker drive me to my house on my lunch at 12 and my truck was just sitting in the bay with half the tires done and didn’t get a call telling me they were done until about 5:45. BTW i just had tires installed on my car for only $245 at les Schwab feel like they took advantage of me because of my age being 18 at the time (only pro imho is that they actually at least installed the new valve stems)

Took my 2018 mini cooper in today and was extremely pleased! They went above and beyond to help me, and for that I owe them a HUGE THANK YOU!!! They are more than fair and the customer service was the best I've ever seen! They have picked up a new customer for sure, and I definitely recommend them!!! Wonderful business, and great peeps!!! Keep it up guys!!!

Called and asked for a quote they said they would get back to me but it’s been two days and they still don’t even have an answer. If that’s how they treat their customers I would not take my business there and don’t recommend it to anybody.

I had some bad luck today on my way home from picking up my niece, car started smoking pretty intensely after I had just got gas so I turn into the next place I saw and low and behold it happened to be Walt’s point s. I immediately park and my niece and I head over to ask if someone could take a look. Got the issue resolved extremely fast, called in around town for a heater core inlet hose and bam, within an hour, maybe two, they had it done and fixed and ready to drive. I can’t thank the team enough for being as attentive and fast as they were. Highly recommend going to Walt’s point s in Yelm. If I have car troubles, first place I’m going too!

My vehicle needed a rear axle replacement according to (firstone) they did not sound confident when explaining this. So, I decided I needed a 2nd opinion, I called Walt because it's close to home, and I try to help local businesses.The reviews seemed to check out.
When I called, Vonn said they can change the rear axle, or simply do a alignment,but they have to put it on the lift first. I brought paperwork from firestone, it stated the rear axle needed to be replaced that alignment adjustments cannot be made. I was clear on letting her know. Turns out, firestone was right, she said, I do need a new rear axle, she said that she could not find or order that part according to her dealers/system. It's funny how employees will smile ? and be nice in the beginning, but when your a unsatisfied customer their attitude and faces change. They were not rude, but not happy and smiling anymore. They tried to charge 140 I ended up paying 72. Maybe rear axles just aren't their thing.For those reasons 1 star.
