When i joined i was told i was gonna be able to get out of the membership with no hassle and payment, when i went in the cancel they told me i have to pay it out right for the whole term. But as i was having that conversation someone next to me that knows the owner was getting out of it for free, if that doesn’t show you the type of gym it is idk what does, it’s over priced staff are not very nice unless your signing up. Definitely don’t recommend, still wish the one good gym in Yelm didn’t burn down.

The gym is nice. Unfortunately, there's a 30-day cancellation notice you have to put in and have to be there in person to fill out.. I was never told this when I first PCS'ed to Yelm and signed up for the gym. All they told me was show Military Orders. I did not have time to stop in as my family and I are PCSing overseas. They try to scalp you for all your money even when you are not here. Staff isn't that friendly when calling over the phone either. It's just as simple as an email in regards to filling out a cancellation request and providing Military Orders. This isn't a YMCA or Gold's Gym.

Great little gym. Only staying in town a week and got a day pass. Very easy to sign up, friendly staff, lots of great equipment and it was only $10!

They are a scam. They are trying to charge a customer after they did not agree to renew their contract after a year. They have now sent charges to collections after they had a conversation with this customer after agreeing to cancel the membership and the issue should have been settled.

As someone who has joined various gyms in town, I would never recommend joining this horrible place. The owner Kasey is unprofessional and instead of acknowledging the reasons for our poor experience, she gives excuses as to why the gym operates horribly. I called in over a month before my monthly membership was set to renew and expressed that due to my mother passing, I wasn’t sure if I would be back in the area and may have to cancel. The staff told me to call in when I have to cancel. When I did, they said I have to give a 30 day notice per the contract and when I expressed that I called in over a month prior regarding this and would like to report the employee that gave me mis-information, they said they don’t track who says what to customers. Then when cancelling both mine and my husbands membership, the front desk employee told my husband he has 30 days to still use the gym after submitting to cancel, we received a call an hour later stating that the front desk girl messed up the contract and that he can’t return, despite them yet again messing up the information and not owning what they physically wrote in the cancellation contract, yet our past contract applies despite the staff giving misinformation. Kasey continued to give excuses and seems to only want to follow certain contracts, and not others. She needs to educate herself and her employees or hire an actual business manager that is willing to provide actual assistance instead of excuses. Anytime fitness features amazing staffing, internal tracking that notes who you spoke with and is highly professional compared to this poorly run establishment. Additionally, get fit Yelm had poor cleanliness and although they say they price match, we had to pay additional fees the first month to get the price match. Save yourself the time and energy and go to anytime fitness where the owners, staff, experience and fitness options by far exceed this place.

I work out at1@m .It's a nice quiet workout.. And there is a nice little sauna. The place is tucked away in a corner by yelm highschool. Very private very secluded. Month to month or yearly.

Gym never properly staffed with management to process account issues, overcharges, and refunds. *** left multiple notes with front desk receptionists. ************** has seen the notes left on my account for two weeks and she never had any decency to contact a paying customer considering ive been accidentally billed for $70, and my account wasnt froze when I asked her to freeze. Hoping she can get some dignity to call her customer back and finally offer some good customer service.

This gym is well organized and extremely clean. Often you’ll see staff continuously sanitizing the equipment throughout the day. The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming.
