My mother was treated with extreme disrespect at this bank, which she has been a customer of for decades. Due to a hearing loss, and inability to stand for long periods, we asked for an accommodation to be made; and they refused to make any accommodations and expected her banking to be done with no privacy. The manager was rude, and uncaring. The bank President was barely interested to take complaint. I was shocked and surprised. Very disappointed in Tieton Stadium Branch. Orchard Park Branch was very helpful, and the only reason we will stay with this establishment.

So, I started getting fees a few months back didn’t know why. This bank has never charged fees. They stated sent me a letter, don’t remember receiving. If I don’t maintain a certain balance they charge a fee. In this economy I’m happy to have a balance, but it’s not their balance. So I finally call and I see I need to close my account because of fee. Oh we can change that! Why take peoples money when you don’t need to? I’m not blame less in this, I should of paid more attention. As the teller told me, wish you would of called earlier, as we can’t give money back that was already taken out!!!The more you know!! Watch your statements more closely and call your banks!!

Arrived to make a deposit tonight and was annoyed to find the drive through already closed a few minutes before 5. I had to haul my sleeping 1 year old out of the car, only to find the doors locked as well. Evidently they decided to close early and all the woman behind the counter did was shrug her shoulders at me while I stood there with a fussing baby. I am new to this bank and seriously thinking of closing my account over this. By the time I had walked back to the car, strapped my son back in, and was doing my own seat belt it was still only 5:01, so they were definitely early. Completely inconsiderate move, and TOTAL CRAP RESPONSE from your employees!

Yakima federal savings and loan was the place we came across when we were looking for a local bank to help service our home loan. From the home loan perspective they have been very helpful, able to get us a very good rate and have made the process of mobile banking relatively easy. They recently introduced an app it allows you to deposit checks with your phone. This didn't seem like a big deal until we started using it. Admittedly, they are a little behind in the implementation, but it works very well and on the hall has been really nice. The people that work at the branches are helpful and pleasant,making most ordinary banking issues pretty seamless. The reason this local bank doesn't get the five star bump is because they don't offer a lot of the ancillary loan services. After joining, we found out they don't do new or used car loans, and also found out it's relatively difficult to do Interbank transfers. Interestingly, many of the folks who work here we're on aware that the services are unavailable as they seemed pretty basic to normal banks. I'm sure they have their reasons, but it sure would be nice to be able to get all things standard bank related done at one location- c'est la vie! All in all, it's a solid place that does home loans and checking accounts really well, but outside of that, at least for the standard participant, there's not as much offered as we would've expected.
