I needed a starter installed quickly and they went to work before I approved it, and the I asked how much and it was way high so I said "whoa stop" . "Oh we can't cuz it's already on the lift" and then charged me a massive amt. It broke me for quite a while. Recently I asked for a quote for a clutch and shocks for my car. They wanted to charge almost $3000. Nooooot. Is it me or does that seem excessive?? So those are my feeling for this shop.

This place is my number one stop! They always get me in fast and give me exceptional service! They do not try to charge me for 100 different things or tell me i need this or need that! They get the job done at a fair price and as long as they are in buisness ill be taking my buisness to them! I highly reccomend them to anyone needing their car serviced! Thank you Yakima Automotive!

Traveling through over midweek. Getting gas and discovered major coolant leak. Fortunately caught before it affected engine but dare to go anywhere. Selected Y. A. based on the business descriptions by self and others on internet. Next morning I was there when they opened. It’s a small business and I braced for the worst. Yep, they were busy, but said if they couldn’t help, they’ll help find someone who can(!). In pm they hoisted it, found the water pump failed and replaced it. Road tested and done by 5. Done right and fairly charged. I also appreciate any customers who might have had their work schedule adjusted to accommodate us. Would recommend these guys for sure, they were pleasant and easy to work with and quick with repairs. I drove my car to Yakima from Arizona and needed some major repair work done for an overheating engine and overall unsteady bouncing. Between the coolant hose connector, thermostat and control arms to new shocks; these guys got the work done fast and my car made it back to Arizona better than the drive out.
