“I had to wait for some of my produce to be transferred from another warehouse. So I asked the office people at the time working if there was a restaurant within walking distance and they said Mel s Diner. It s at the corner of D str and 1st str , you can t miss it. People were nice and friendly service. Plus it has the look of the 50s and 60s. They r open from 6 am to 2 pm pacific standard time. I got there within 30 minutes of him putting up the closed sign and in still let me in to seat down ,not just a carry out. I would recommend this place to you truckers that have to wait.Not everywhere we go is there a walking distance restaurants we can enjoy a home cooked seat down meal.”

“Pick up here regularly. Never an issue at all. Typically get a door and loaded prior to appt time. It’s really all in the attitude. Clean restrooms and vending machines as well. HUGE lot to back in . Overnight parking as well”
