Man, I cannot thank these guys enough. I was 2 hours into a 12 hour drive home, just starting up the hills into Yakima when one of the cylinders on my car started to misfire. I limped it into town and to this place. They were super busy but they took mercy on me and my situation and got me back on the road within an hour. They were an absolute pleasure to work with and were very reasonable with me in my moment of high stress and anxiety. Awesome guys!

Sure, you can go to a franchise shop to save a nickel or two. But do you have faith in your vehicle to get there? THIS IS THE PLACE that you can depend on, that determines whether you're on the road to your destination, or the road to ruin.
This is also a place where they aren't trying to talk you into replacing a ton of broken things which your vehicle has no symptoms of needing to be repaired, especially after you've already paid. Or, giving up on the vehicle you are having fixed, and buying a new one. My car has body damage, but runs smoother now than most cars in Yakima.
Might I also add that they are not indignant to you, or trying to act superior. They don't treat you like you are at their mercy.
So... why go anywhere else?

Alphonso Sr. and Jr. are really salt of the earth hard working folks . They always ask if you need a ride home , or , to where ever . They service new and older cars , especially my 86 Chrysler Fifth Ave , and my mom's extra car , a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan . Always fast and honest service you can trust , and very friendly! ???

Seven months to repair a car. Excuses and delays. Literally every week they were coming up with something new they needed, wanted, demanded. Sent the car out for a "test" and then claimed something else broke. Ran a check after fixing one issue and then decided to change the battery. Constantly finding new issues.. why all the "issues" could not have been found from the get go.. but took 7 months to find was never explained. Absolute nightmare. If you have other choices, please stay away

Just moved to Yakima so my wife could attend PNWU. I feel lucky to have found an honest mechanic. They have replaced my brake pads, spark plugs and oil. They have the best customer service, price, and quality work that I have found in the area. They are also the closest auto repair shop to school, and will even offer a shuttle service, which is incredibly convenient. Highly recommend these guys to students who may need any mechanical repairs.

This is the best place to get your car fixed! They have a shuttle service, and they took me and my three kids all the way home after I took in my 1997 Toyota Camry. My car was making all kinds of noises, from clunking to humming, it sounded like all the bolts were coming out of the car. They finish fixing up my car, and they even dropped it off at my work. My car had no more noises, it feels and drives like a brand new car. The mechanics are awesome, and they explain to you everything. Valley Automotive Center is reliable, and trustworthy.
