I debated on sharing our experience with this clinic but ultimately decided that it may be helpful to another pet owner. My dealings were with Dr. Kurt Stueckle and the staff members only so I cannot speak to any other doctors' services.Finding a vet in the Yakima Valley has been difficult and options are limited. I found this clinic and scheduled an appointment to establish care for my 3 year old cat who was experiencing breathing problems early this year. Dr. Stueckle was unable to find answers and recommended us to a heart specialist in Tacoma before returning to Terrace Heights. After visiting the specialist it was determined there was a fluid buildup in my cat's chest which could be due to several potential reasons and that it would need to be drained to determine next steps. After returning to Terrace Heights clinic several times over about 4 months we were still left without many answers – I had to continually request medications that had previously been prescribed hoping it would be a short term fix.Dr. Stueckle then attempted the fluid removal procedure twice but was unsuccessful for some reason. After this he stopped all further communication with me for ongoing care of my cat who continued to get worse. I asked several times for any recommendations from him and if he thought it best for us to look into finding another specialist if necessary. I was unable to reach him by phone, as I had done without issue previously, and he did not return any of my messages via staff. I gave him the benefit of the doubt and figured his schedule was full but that he would follow up when he could. This culminated with an emergency trip to the clinic when my cat's breathing became severely labored one day and he was clearly in distress. At this visit the doctor never came out of the back office to speak to me and I had to essentially beg for staff to stabilize my cat, who was gasping like a fish out of water, before we could ultimately leave.I will say that my initial experience with this doctor was wonderful- he seemed motivated to help us find answers and said that our case would help him learn how to better care for feline patients in the future. I had high hopes that he would lead us in the right direction. However at the end of this, I felt disregarded and hurt and that my beloved pet’s care didn't matter.Perhaps because he was out of answers the doctor chose to cut off all care. I would’ve understood and appreciated if Dr. Stueckle had communicated this to me or even referred us to another clinic. I understand he may have limitations and that my cat’s high anxiety demeanor during visits (for which he took sedatives to help) was too much for him. But his complete lack of communication and professionalism is incredibly disappointing and took up crucial time with my pet suffering when we could've gotten help elsewhere. The staff at this clinic were wonderful and I always had great interactions with them. They went above and beyond and I am grateful. We were later able to find care at another local clinic with a doctor who has been wonderful. The doctor there was able to complete the fluid removal on the first try.In my opinion, I would advise against going to this clinic for anything above regular vaccination and annual check up needs. It's best to look for care elsewhere- especially if you have a beloved cat who may need ongoing care.

The staff is friendly and it is a very clean establishment, but it cost me over $700.00 to have my dogs teeth cleaned. That is criminal. I will not be going back here.

I called and scheduled an appointment yesterday for Thursday afternoon and they asked me for a $70 deposit . An hour later I called to cancel because I had found a vet that could see my dog earlier. They refused to refund my money because “ that’ for our time to schedule your appointment.. ”. You thieves! ?

Miss Dr Hays. He was the best. When I would bring my dogs in for their yearly shots and exams he checked everything. Their eyes, teeth, skin and coat, listened to their heart, took their temperature, checked his weight, gave them their shots. New vet is friendly enough but definitely not through. Just gave him his shots and talked about his weight. A lot of new staff. I know there is a vet shortage and they are all busy. Hopefully better next time

The previous vet I was taking my dog to I never really cared for. When it came time to put her down there was no way I was going to take her to that one. This vet, Terrace Heights, was our new pups vet. So we took my old girl there to put her down and I am so glad I took her here for that. The receptionist in the 1st place is amazing! But how kind and the remorse they all had for us was so great really meaningful! And as I stated this is our pups vet and they are great with her too.

This vet just wants your money. I took my senior cat in for a severe ear infection since the selah vet was clowned and they were a nice staff but they did nothing for my cat. They packed medicine in both ears and that seemed to help so we took her there again and they just did the same thing and it wouldn’t be until this Tuesday when I found out they really didn’t help her. The selah vet said they pulled out a HUGE wad of wax buildup and they told us she had a polyp. I’m extremely upset and I wish I could get the $300 I spent back, please take your pets literally anywhere else.
