I would like to report that one should be very wary of this company if they are trying to find work with them. I worked for the company from 12/3/2023 to 1/12/2024. Although the work was very enjoyable, I was terminated without recourse at the end of a 10.5-hour shift. There was apparently an investigation into my conduct without my knowledge. According to the HR department, I canceled a client's ride when I arrived at their home and refused to check the client's door when I arrived on site. The truth of the matter is, that when I arrived at the residence of the client, their trip was no longer present on my app. I had been told by my trainers that this meant the ride was cancelled and I should check in with dispatch and move on. I checked with dispatch and they cleared me to move on. Three days later, without anyone ever asking me my side of the story, I was fired without any chance to state my case. I would be very careful if you want to work for this company, as there is minimal training and apparently they are quick to fire someone. I would assume that in this case, the dispatch would have seen that the ride for the client was not canceled, and I hope that the dispatch person was fired as well as they were a part of the problem. I doubt this happened though. BEWARE OF MEDSTAR TRANSPORTATION!

I've met a few drivers whom would pick up and drop off my grandma and they would help her up the stairs and to the door. She loved when they would chit chat with her even for a 15 minute ride. And I applied for a job to see what it's like for them when they go out into the community

Honesty to me is the KEY for being a good company. PLEASE READ ON. IF YOU ARE APPLYING FOR A JOB, MAKE SURE YOU GET IT IN WRITING BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING. I applied for a job with this company last week. Got a call from SUE, who told me to come to 610 S Sherman street in Spokane. She told me the pay would be $17.25 and hr for starters. The add said $17.50-$21.50. I showed up today at this address, only to find out it was the parking lot of a medical com. I was confused, as I knew I was at the right place. Called the number and spoke to the same lady who Identified her self as SUE. First Red flag came , when she told me to look for a Company car in the parking lot. I did and found a Gentleman by the name of Joseph. A nice man. He told me that the company did not have an office locally and he did not know why people applying for jobs were not told initially. At 8:30 Am four people were set to show up for a 1 hour training, set up in the basement garage of another medical co. Red flag #2. No one showed up, except me. Then at 9:00 Am a 2nd person showed up. By then Joseph had already me the basics and as he was talking to the new person, I decided to text SUE, to confirm the pay and wanted to know how fast it would take to increase my pay from $17.25 to $21.50. She called me immediately and told me that the pay was not $17.25 but $15.25. I explained to her what the advertisement said, but it did not matter to her. I thanked her and told her to take my name off the list as I was no longer interested in the job. As I was informing Joseph of my decision, the gentleman who came in at 9:00 am said he was told it would be $17.25 as well. Hearing the news, he thanked Joseph and left. In the meantime, SUE tried to convince me that was wrong by sending me a printout of what the company pay is. In return, I sent her what is printed in the add.

Very poor company to work for. Doesn't pay on time and doesn't have enough vehicles to put employees in.

I want say how much my mom and I appreciated Dana our MedStar driver. My mom is recovering from foot surgery and needed a post surgery ride to Bothell. Dana was not only super friendly she was so helpful and kind. We had a great trip and definitely recommend her. We hope to get her every time! She deserves a raise!

Sometimes they just don't show up at all. Other times there service is great. My friend has to be at dialysis or he may die soon, and I truly believe that they could Care less.
