I don't know who works on the trucks there, but most of the rigs don't actually get fixed. And if they do get "fixed" , they break down in a month or less after. I know people who go there to get work done and I honestly don't understand why.
Edit: And yet again, here's another rig NOT fixed. Broke down in Seattle and have to wait until 7am to get it fixed. It's been less than a week since the rig was dropped off and was supposed to be fixed. I have no idea why this trucking company keeps sending trucks to the yakima location. Earlier this month, I knew someone who took their truck in to get fixed and when they got it back they drove down the block and had to take it back because the breaks on one of the back wheels locked up and turned bright red and caught fire. What the heck are the mechanics doing there? THEY'RE GOING TO KILL SOMEONE ONE OF THESE DAYS BY NOT FIXING THINGS CORRECTLY. This is not just a paycheck, this is someone's life you're messing with.

They get on your truck right away especially with something that they can handle very quickly and I love it very friendly staff and mechanics

I brought a 2012 t800 kenworth in on a Monday for a def filter cleaning. I waited until Thursday to see if truck was done. They said it wasn't. I said it's ok. I have a job for it on Monday so if isn't going to be done by Monday than I won't schedule it. They said it will be done go ahead and schedule it. It is Saturday one hour before they close and they haven't finished it. This really sucks! Bad services!

These guys sure bring a whole new meaning to the word incompetent. Truck was towed in with a bed shifter issue( pretty common for a T680). For 4 weeks I have been following up on the repair and was constantly given contradicting information: part has been shipped to get repaired 3 weeks ago, then 1 weeks, then I was told that sorry - we never shipped the part! After truck been sitting in the shop for 4 weeks! After the part was shipped and "repaired" it got lost at their location. Then the keys to the truck were lost. Finally the part was installed. Only to follow with an ABS issue that didnt exist until the truck was towed in, and the story repeats itself over again. 1st service advisor tells me one thing, second advisor tell me something entirely different. I simply gave up and took the truck away. Made it to SC and put it at a local KW dealer. The very first thing that was found is a faulty shifter!!!!! The exact issue that was being fixed at Pape for 2 month!!!! Simply unbelievable

Work with the their outside parts sales department on a regular basis, both Shane and Ryan are extremely helpful in locating and acquiring the right parts for the job.

Our truck was a challenge and we were there a long time but in the end it was fixed. Everyone was kind and we have some new friends. What could’ve been a horrible experience turned into a good one. Thank you Pape Kenworth Yakima WA crew!!!

Bought a used truck at another dealer. Found a heavy vibration and took in to Kenworth and told me a day they could look at it. Didn't get it in till later the day after they said they would and didn't even bother to look at the main issue. They started looking into a sperate side issue. Finally after over a week of them having it and me missing loads and 2300 later it still has the same vibration. I trusted the shop foreman as to what he thought it was and purchased parts and labor for nothing. Well guess what now I get to self diagnose because you can't trust these high price cooperate shops anymore. Also had issue with the rear rear axle warning saying it's locked in. Trusted them again as to get it fixed. Wrong. Still has the warning. Thanks Kenworth.

My a/c compressor went out on a very hot day. After finishing loading I got to the shop around 5pm. They looked busy so I wasn't optimistic but they got me right in and had it changed in a couple of hours. When they did the pressure test a line ruptured and since it's a glider I had to wait until the next day for a line to be made up st and outside shop. Nothing anyone could do about that. Everyone was nice and bottom line, I was out in time to stay on schedule
