Great people who both run and volunteer at the center. Great place for resources and helping with a hand up to the community and citizens of Woodland.

Whether you are there for the food bank or at the thrift store you will find the most caring helpful people around. I would like to say thank you to Gayle, Deanna, and Tanya for all your hard work without you Woodland wouldn't have the action center.

If you want to see reverse discrimination you got to come to this place. The volunteers like to play favoritesthis is the place where people who cheat the system come to store up on food and there's some kind of agreement between the volunteers here and the special favorite people.

Getting into the Woodland Action thrift store takes some effort. It's a little hard to find the entrance, and it may not be clear whether it's even open at first. But once you're in, you'll find a surprisingly big space! They're located inside a warehouse, and the back loading dock is for deliveries. The ground floor is the food bank. For the thrift store, go up the external flight of stairs to the lime green door. Inside, the store is pretty big. Books and jewelry are up front, and in mid-November, they had A LOT of Xmas decorations: wreaths, ornaments, gift bags and cards, glassware and dishes. The majority of the store is housewares, and they even have a furniture section in the middle of the floor. The book selection is also pretty decent. Clothing is less well represented. There's one side room with men's and women's clothing, and it's not a big selection. Kids' clothing is on the main floor, and there seems to be more of that than adults' clothing. Most of the clothes had flat prices by the type of item, and were pretty reasonably priced. They also had a special where you could fill a bag with clothes for $6, so it seems like they offer additional sales and discounts. Prices seemed a bit high on the housewares and kitchen appliances for what they were. But the clothes and books were fairly priced, so it may just depend on what you're looking for. Overall, not someplace I'd go out of my way for, but if you find yourself in Woodland and want to do some thrifting, the Action Center is here for you!

The dedicated, hard working staff and board here do so much with so little. Please donate to this organization if you can or volunteer or ask friends and family to support this organization!

The thrift store upstairs has so much to look through and such incredible prices. The stairs up are outside so if you need help ask in the food bank downstairs. Books, crafts, picture frames dominate. Very few castoff "maybe it will work" appliances tjat dominate other thrifts. Everyone here is happy!

I was passing through town and I googled for a thrift store in Woodland. Google guide me to Woodland action. The store is upstairs, cute, neat and very well organized. I met Tanya, a volunteer of many years at the store. What this store does is whatever they sell within the thrift store, the proceeds go to the food bank downstairs. They have this offer that if you get a bag and fill it up with certain clothing items, the cost is $6 for the bag! well that's a good deal :-) this is the only thrift store in Woodland but they have a pretty special way of helping within their community. I plan to return for bargains! Thank you Tanya for showing me around your little thrift store. I enjoyed my visit!

The Woodland Action Center is amazing and so very helpful. They are so nice and so generous to help feed Woodland. I love their thrift store too. They offer resources for job search and resources for other needs. They deserve 10 stars.
