I photographed a wedding here last August and I was so impressed by the staff, the venue itself, and how many photo opportunities there were! They aim for good vibes all around, which is good for everyone and very attentive and helpful during the day's events. The upkeep of the venue is immaculate! Keep it up ladies! I hope to get to work with you all again soon ?

The venue is absolutely beautiful and Angela and her staff are one in a million! She was always there to awnser any questions I had, we could meet with her however many times we needed. She took care of so many details and took our breaths away on the wedding day. We can't thank her and her staff enough for making our day so personal and putting so much hard work into it! I would recommend this venue to anyone for a wedding or any other special event!

Beautiful setting out in the country. Surrounded by trees and nature, it is a memorable place for a couple to share their vows. The staff was warm and friendly and ready to go above and beyond.

Angela, you are awesome and really made our wedding day so much easier, I hope anyone who is reading this ignores the 1 star reviews because our experience was nothing but magical and tbh perfect especially when the weather didn't want to participate. Angela was fully prepared and juggled locations so we would have the wedding made of dreams. My bride is over the moon with how our event went, and every single one of our guests and catering company said it was such a beautiful, well planned out venue. Bravo to you Angela and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Mind you that this was all planned out over the phone because we live in Indianapolis.

Avoid even touring this place at all costs.As a disclaimer, I didn't have an event here, I only took a tour. It was one of the most miserable experiences I've ever had.Prior to the tour I'd asked if there was forested views, and was lied to. There are not. There is a field and a barn, two trailers in disrepair that are used for bride and groom quarters (I don't know how you would get ready in either, you can't even turn around), restrooms which made me want to scrub my skin off, a prep kitchen I wouldn't use to serve my dog, and you can see the neighbors' homes and the house in which the venue owner lives.The venue itself is full of clutter, and gave off a "yard sale" aesthetic. The furniture was at best eclectic and in various stages of disrepair. Almost every indoor space has moldering, stained walls and floors, peeling paint, and a nasty smell. I was so shocked and wanted to leave so badly I didn't even take pictures.The worst part of the experience was the sales pitch we were given. This is far from my first venue tour, so I was quite surprised to be sat down on an appallingly ugly couch and soundly condescended to while she attempted to bond with us. We were given an MLM-style speech, complete with printouts of packages offered by competitors which she tried to espouse as similar to her services, and denigration of amenities offered at other venues. I was truly shocked and appalled by the assumptions made about us. (At one point she said "You don't know what you're doing!". She also mentioned a few times conversations she'd had with people who chose to go elsewhere that apparently called her and apologized for not picking her? It was extremely weird. We are not actively looking for a wedding planner, but if we were I would not pick her.) The Mary-Kay/Car Salesman style of monologuing was intense and not appreciated, and she was already trying to control aspects of our wedding before so much as giving us a tour. I did not know how to react or what to say to such blatant rudeness, so I smiled, nodded, answered questions, and gritted my teeth until she decided to get up and actually take us for a tour. I can't imagine what it would have been like if that had been our first venue experience, or if we hadn't had solutions for the hypothetical problems she posed (I'm sure she was trying to explain how her services were necessary and her experience superior, but it just came off as hollow and forced.)

The staff at this place is horrible and very controlling. The bartender only served 1 shot per person at the wedding. The Wedding was well decorated and very organized. The lady who controls this place completely controlled everything at the wedding.She acts like she's the one making the plans and not allowing the bride to make plans. She was very unprofessional. She also told the DJ what and what not to play for music. If anyone reads this message, I suggest finding a different place to get engaged at, Because this place is not worth the money and they completely rip you off.They charged us for the table cloths, which clearly the bartender spilt some type of substance on the cloth. I ADVISE ANYONE TO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE AND PLEASE FIND A PLACE WHERE STAFF TREATS PEOPLE WITH RESPECT AND VERY RESPONSIVENESS WITH THE GROOM AND BRIDE!1 STAR FROM ME AND MY FAMILY!! I'LL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY EVER AGAIN:(ALSO ANGELA YOU SHOULD LEARN HOW TO RESPOND TO PEOPLE WITH 1 STAR REVIEWS :( JUST RECOMMENDING

This is a magical place...Angela completely outdid herself! The attention to detail superceded our expectations. She made sure that our celebration was warm, homie and completely breathtaking. I can't thank Angela enough for making the day so wonderful! I wish we took more pictures but she made us feel so comfortable and at home that we enjoyed the day so much that we were just in the moment! Thank you again and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE!

The bar tender only poured one shots each at the wedding and controlled how much people can have in their drink and Angela took control over the dj after all the music was planned for the wedding. The place was nice but the staff wasn’t the best wouldn’t recommend if you don’t want your wedding controlled and your ideas getting go right out the door.

Such an INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL Venue! I attended my niece's Wedding at Wickering Heights and was so impressed with ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING!!! The caretakers of this Venue put their heart & soul into every detail from big to small. It's so apparent they love what they do!!! I'm looking into reserving for our up coming family reunion!
