Safeway always has the cheapest gas around. Perfect if your trying ro save some money and they usually have a small selection of snacks you can get or you can just got into the grocery store amd pick up most things you might need.

Put my card in, and then realized that there was already $28 worth of gas on the meter and it’s trying to get me paid for it. Cancelled the transaction and got the hell out. Will be watching my card statement like a hawk - this reals of scam…

I was pumping my gas and a large overweight Safeway employee with a reddish scar on his face came out and started yelling at me that I am pumping on the wrong side of my car.
I told him that Safeway should put up a sign to let people know that they don't want people pumping on the opposite side of the car. He then walked towards me like he was going to get physical and continued to stare at me and try to intimidate me.
There was a guy at the other pump who was pumping on the wrong side as well, he looked at me and raised his eyebrows. He was also surprised at the way this employee was acting towards me. The only difference between him and me is the color of our skin. I asked the overweight employee if he is trying to pick on me and why isn't he saying anything to the other people pumping gas wrong. All he did was take a step towards me.
As I was leaving, he sarcastically tells me to "have a nice day" I told him my day was going great until I met him. Congratulations Safeway, you've earned the worst gas pumping experience of my entire 50 year old life.
