I attempted to order a vanity with Strasser through a third party vendor since they don’t sell directly. I met with Peter at Strasser who flipped off his coworkers on the way to meet with me which I’m sure he didn’t think I saw. His demeanor was condescending and unpleasant but he drew up a custom order for me and gave me a list of vendors to order through. I did my part and sent the order to the vendor with confirmation, and consequently never heard anything back from either of them. I tried to call Strasser and inquire but never received a call back, and the third party vendor never heard back from them either and completely understood when I cancelled the order almost a month later after no communication. What an unfortunate waste of time.The response is also unfortunate. I guess they are better off relying on their third party vendors for a good customer service experience. Their other one star reviews offer additional cautionary statements about their service so it’s obvious that this is a pattern of behavior and not a singular experience.Service: Custom cabinet design & installation

We paid over $1,300 for a Simplicity cabinet from this company and when it arrived, two of the doors had some kind of compound on them that had hardened. This is inexcusable workmanship for such an expensive item. When I couldn't get any response from the dealer I bought it through, I called the company. Well, no one answers the phone. It has a voicemail message saying, "If you need to reach ________ please press 1" and so on. So you don't know who you should talk to. Talk about poor customer service! Finally I was told to contact the sales rep in which I did. I sent him pictures showing the damage. He kept asking me if it was on the outside or interior of the doors. What the hell does that matter? It's on the unit and that's all that counts. He said he would contact the company to see what can be done. His voice didn't sound hopeful. Well, they had better send new doors because this is supposed to be under warranty!

We were not happy with our expensive vanity which began chipping from the moment it arrived and the customer service refused to replace any parts or repair the unit. They said water damage is not covered by their Lifetime Warranty - for a bathroom fixture! We didn't even get the vanity excessively wet - just typical bathroom humidity. And it hadn't occurred to them to use water resistant materials - avoid.

Wonderful USA made products with so many different varieties of colors and styles to choose from. They made my bathroom vanity to order, so it arrived flawless. Great prices, sturdy quality, and wonderful customer service! I highly recommend Strasser Woodenworks!

Very disappointing experience. Ordered their Lapis Blue vanity and linen tower. When it arrived and I unboxed it there were quite a few issues. Dents and impressions in the wood (it's not supposed to be a distressed finish) and issues with the paint/lacquer (missed spots, scratches, marring). After going back and forth they offered to send new doors/drawers but there were issues on the frame as well so then they offered $150 discount (on a nearly $4000 purchase) which was laughable. I'm looking for something nice, not a scratch & dent floor sample. So they agreed to build a new one which would take another 3 weeks (and hold up my bathroom from being usable/finished). Sure enough 3 weeks later the new one comes and it has the same issues. It was mind boggling that after the problems with the first one there was no QC done before they boxed it up to ship it. It's now 3 days later (I emailed the customer service person I'd initially dealt with and the VP of Sales the day I received it with photos and an explanation of what happened) and I haven't heard from anyone. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

We purchaced our vanity in 2012 and it still is like new! We LOVE it! Quality is outstanding! LOVE LOVE LOVE having the drawer in the bottom under the sink, it adds so much storage. Pure Genius!

I have been so disappointed in the craftmanship of my strasser vanity. I ordered it from a dealer and when our contractor installed it, we noticed several issues, including a stain on one of the panels, ill fitting drawers and doors, and finally the laminate is peeling off of the drawers. Strasser sent a very tiny amount of paint for us to cover the stain, but not enough to paint the whole panel, just enough to cover the stain, so you can see and feel the difference. The matching cabinet is fine so far, but I am really unimpressed.

I purchased four vanities in 2014 and they still look like new. Excellent Quality and construction. We added electrical outlets to the drawers and put LED lighting under two of the vanities ( master) that turn on when you walk in the room. Strasser should consider adding these as options ! The one vanity that I did NOT purchase from Strasser now has to be replaced. I am starting a new building project and will purchase Strasser again. I changed out the knobs and pulls , which can really add some high style And personalization. I’m curious to know if Strasser can do a custom color ? As I would love and aqua / turquoise vanity in my powder room.
