Comes across as a nice little liquor store, I bought liquor here in the past. However, now beware the tiny but rather heavy steel-framed toddler chair that the owner placed right in the middle of the pathway - this is not safe. The chair is so tiny you will not see it if you walk along the pathway while looking at wine shelves. So, when I bumped into it, it was a total surprise, and hurt a lot - I nearly fell over it. So, just watch out for physical safety at this place. That is not to mention that it is not entirely clear why toddlers would be brought to a liquor store and accommodated there.

We discovered this store by accident and it has become our number one go to for all things alcohol. Their prices are on par with other seller but the service we get from the manager every time we come in is exemplary; not only do we get excellent recommendations for things we might like or are worth trying, but the sheer knowledge those recommendations come with is astounding. We always have a warm positive experience there, regardless of how terrible our day may have been otherwise. Proper & Ernest is more than just a store, its a haven. They do lean more into better quality than the grocery store cheap stuff, but that doesn't mean that everything is expensive, just that even the lower shelf stuff is still likely to be pretty decent.

There's not a single thing I can say this place doesn't offer. Really cool environment really great ownership and awesome selection. Highly recommend checking it out! It's great to support local businesses, of course but I think the prices are fair for the rare and extensive selection.

My go to liquor store in the area. The shop keeper is always very knowledgeable and helpful. They have some more difficult to find items that your chain liquor store won't have.

This spot is a Class act from the get go! We were in Woodinville for Business. Needless to say the Best business we did while in town was stop by this wonderful spot tucked away in a strip mall. Hard to get wines with great prices, Beautiful cigar selection without gouging consumers. The person running the shop when we stopped by Wednesday August 30 about 1pm Was on point. Put me in a shop full of Knowledgeable people and Fantastic products and I really am in my Happy Place. We need a new reason to Visit Woodinville due to Proper & Ernest. (P. S. I handle the SM and Marketing for Samantha Ferraro). and WE will be back for a GREAT Mescal a chat with the owner and a premium not overpriced cigar. They also do Tastings, Priceless. See you soon.

Love this place! The guys here are super knowledgeable and you can tell they love teaching customers about whiskey. They've been super helpful as I'm starting my bourbon journey.Prices are comparable to your chain stores. Some bottles are marked up 5/10 bucks but for the most part they are around the same. Totally worth spending an extra 10 bucks to support a local business and have a good conversation.
