I bought a treadmill (trm445) six months ago and it hasn't been able to work properly and not have been fixed yet. I've been trying to return it for the past few days. Whenever I call, I'm always directed to the manager who is perpetually unavailable. I've left voicemails but have received no return calls.

I purchased 3 of their commercial treadmills new from Columbia Fitness in Tri Cities, WA a couple years ago. I have had nothing but trouble with them and Precor has not remedied the situation. After well over a year of banging my head against the wall dealing with Precor and Columbia Fitness, I have finally lost my patience and would suggest anybody looking into purchasing fitness equipment stay away from anything Precor, as I have found their product quality, reliability and warranty support to be a complete joke.

I've owned two Precor treadmills. My latest died on me yesterday. I got in touch with tech support twice to get to the root of my problem, a toll free number. In both cases the technicians walked me step by step down the trouble-shooting path. They were knowledgeable, courteous and extremely helpful. In the end it turned out not to be a dead TM, but a worn treadmill bed and belt (pulling too many amps and therefore cutting out on me). This is an old commercial machine and I was surprised that Precor still carried the parts for it. I was given the part nos., the costs, and the names of servicers who could put things right. I could not have asked for a better customer service experience, and I don't believe I've ever had one. Thanks Precor. A customer for life.
