“Member for 12 years. I have used this location for several years. Always had a great experience. Recently I came in to get my daughter a debit card and had an extra great time. Today I went in with several questions and the 3 ladies working took the time to explain everything to me and it really helped my understanding of how the online banking system works. I really appreciate the extra time they spent. Highly recommend.”

I decided to go to Sound Credit Union hoping to get a personal loan with a 7.5% interest rate. I was extremely unsure about depositing this check so I came into this BECU to speak with someone and get some advice. I got connected with EXTREMELY KIND, AND EMPATHETIC MEG. P. This lady is an Angel and didn't make me feel stupid at all for almost falling for this scam. Instead she kindly explained to me how these scams work and gave me the reassurance I needed. “This is a really good bank! I needed to open a business checking account and business credit card and they have really good options for no monthly maintenance fee accounts! The only caviate is, you need to have a direct family member who has served in the US military to be able to qualify for a account here.I highly recommend Navy Federal credit Union!”
“If I can give this BECU a 10, I would. I came in 40 minutes before they close on a Saturday. One lady came up and asked me how she can help, then assisted me in signing in the electronic queue. There were several customers ahead in line and I wasn’t sure they will be able to get to me before they close. I was afraid they’d get to me only to tell me to come back another day because they’re closed. Luckily, that wasn’t their policy. The young man who helped me was very pleasant and did not try to sell me any products or discourage me from closing my accounts. He was very professional and explained each step of the process. He didn’t try to rush me even though their office was closed by the time he was helping me. They are in every way the opposite of the Wells Fargo in Totem Lake in their customer service. I will recommend them over WF on any given day.”

“Lived in Tri-Cities for many years. Love this CU. Glad to see that they merged and migrated their service area to this side of cascades. I still have part of pay directly deposited to this CU, although I also have BECU accounts. It is much easier to manage business with a local representative. “Came in for a car loan and ended up taking longer than expected, 45 minutes past their close time. But Tony was very helpful, friendly, and gracious throughout the entire process. He explained at each step what was happening and why things were taking as long as they were, managing our expectations very well. We were able to originate the loan in the same visit which was a great surprise as well.Been to this branch a few times, never any problems - pleasant interactions each time. Yes it's busy and you might have to wait, but that should tell you something about how many people choose BECU over the nearby alternatives.”
