Based on the short interaction with this vet it is clear that they care more about your pets care then getting paid. I was visiting from out of town for a camping trip and my dog had an allergic reaction. I called this vet and left a VM. Dr. Pastore called within 10 minutes and gave me consultation. Even after asking for an invoice for their services they still didn't want to charge me. Very clear that they will prioritize your pet and not try to nickel and dime you. Very grateful!

We were visiting Mazama for a week when our geriatric dog tumbled off the porch and had noticeable issues standing and walking. We headed to the first vet office we could find and they took us as a walk in (which they don't usually do).Dr Sherrie and her staff were amazing. They took care of our little guy, were thorough in their exam and got us back home quickly. We're very thankful for everything they did!! I would recommend this office to anyone based on our experience and their caring and thoughtful manner.

Due to a cancellation by another patient, I was fortunate to get an appointment with Dr. Pastore after my dog became ill during a camping trip to Winthrop. Upon arriving at the clinic I was greeted warmly by Kerstin, and Rachael was very understanding and compassionate during the initial intake examination. When I spoke with Dr. Pastore I was immediately impressed with her knowledge and professionalism regarding my pet’s condition. Because I live in a different part of the state, Dr. Pastore is not my regular veterinarian, but based on the experience of my visit, I would not hesitate to recommend her and Winthrop Veterinary Clinic to anyone seeking compassionate and professional pet care.

Dr. Pastore helped my dog during an emergency, off hours, and showed extreme kindness and compassion for both myself and my dog. I was blown away by how nice and helpful she was. Can’t recommend enough.

My two dogs got into a fight, and the fight-picker bore the brunt of it. Her ear cartilage was torn, and with our regular Twisp vet out of town, I scrambled to find a back-up option. The other Winthrop clinic wouldn't see her, despite the apparent urgency of her situation, because they weren't taking new patients. Next on my list was Winthrop Veterinary Clinic, and Anna was as thoughtful, friendly, and empathetic as you could possibly hope for. She took a minute to confer with the attending vet, and came back to say that, while they also weren't accepting new patients and were in fact double-booked for the day, they never turned away pets with urgent needs. They fit us in toward the end of the day, and stayed until after 6 p.m. to get Zelda cleaned up and treated. Dr. Sherrie took so much care to explain Zelda's situation, and to walk through her meds and follow-up care with me. This was no small feat, as it was 0 degrees outside and covid protocol had us talking in the parking lot. Also, what dog mama doesn't want the care staff to love her baby? Zelda isn't, shall we say, conventionally beautiful and has an oddball personality, but both Rachael and Dr. Sherrie were over the moon about her, and kept telling me so. She went home clean, bandaged, medicated, and spoiled, and promises to heal up quickly. Thank you so much, Dr. Sherrie and crew!

Dr. Gina is just amazing very nice and friendly and thorough. I give her 5 stars. But dr. Sherrie was just nasty horrible attitude I’ve spent lots of money there and did NOT appreciate being talked to that way.

I am so thankful that Winthrop Veterinary Clinic cares for my dog! Dr. Sherrie, Dr. Gina, Tammy, and the rest of the team are incredibly kind, competent, and knowledgeable. It is apparent that they truly care about the animals they care for and the work they do. The entire staff is professional, friendly, and very skilled in veterinary medicine. And their prices are fair and reasonable. We are lucky to have this clinic in the valley!

Dr. Gina met me on Saturday to take care of a wound on my Labrador. It wasn't cheap, but the care was excellent.

Both veterinarians met us late on a weekend to care for our dog who'd been bitten by a rattlesnake. Dr. Sherrie Crow was an excellent communicator regarding the necessary treatments and recommendations.

Wish i could give 5 stars because staff was really friendly and helpful but i took my kitty in and told them what was wrong, and they must not have listened to me because when i got her back she died a day and a half later from the same problem i took her in for.

I didn't feel as welcomed as I did at Valley Vet in Twisp. I didn't feel like they cared for my pet as did Valley Vet. It didn't feel or look as clean as I would expect a medical facility should be.

I have always taken my babies there and they treat them like they are their own and they never treat me like a crazy dog mom! I love you guys and thank you for all you do!
