Beware! There are new owners. We have stayed here every year for ten years and it was great until last fall. Apparently, two weeks isn’t enough notice to change a reservation. I was still charged for all of the original days, even though I had called two weeks in advance to shorten my stay. The manager then proceeded to give me a lecture about business practices and their 30 day policy. I guess one more night’s fee was more important to them than my business for years to come. The park was only 25% full in October when I was there. The old owners were great to work with. Be careful here.

While I typically refrain from writing negative reviews, I find myself compelled to share our disappointing experience at this RV park. Back in July, we reserved a tent site here for a working vacation in our off-grid Promaster van, and several factors left us thoroughly unsatisfied.Initially, I reached out to the office to inquire about the campground's wifi reliability, as my husband and I required it for our remote jobs. The staff assured us that the wifi was robust enough for both of us. However, the reality was quite different; the campsite's wifi was basically nonexistent, and even in the clubhouse, it barely functioned. To compound our disappointment, upon arrival, we were informed of various "add-ons", such as dumping services for an additional $10 and showers that were something like $2.50 for 5 minutes. These fees seem unreasonable, especially given the already considerable cost of a mediocre campsite. We’ve never had to pay to dump after paying to stay…None of this seems to be disclosed on their website either. This lack of transparency added to our dissatisfaction. We ended up leaving the campground and lost the $130 for 3 nights at a tent site.Take my advice and stay at Pearrygin Lake State Park. It offers the same lake with better amenities, including free, unlimited, and hot showers.

My 91 year old mom was hospitalized with kidney failure and will have to go to skilled nursing and hospice soI had to cancel (72 hours prior to my reservation)I think its outrageous to keep that much of a deposit ($350) which is just about half the cost of my planned stay on a cancellation you know you’re gonna sell that spot out for hunting season*** 10/16/2023 update-***I cancelled on 10/9/2023 with a reserved date of 10/12/2023that's 72 hours

Nice quiet campground on Pearygin lake just outside of the charming historical town of Winthrop. Don't expect cell service or wifi, though.

Flexible on our site because it was low season. Bathrooms were very cold and only cold water from the faucets. Staff was a little lackadaisical about the water situation and other small issues. The ditches to control the speed were a little overkill. The area is beautiful though!

Had a great time, but rates are pricing us out of one of our best spots.

I love this RV Resort!! This is by far the most beautiful and relaxing resort I’ve ever been to, the staff is incredibly friendly and the grounds are stunning. Love the fact that I could bring my dog here and have her enjoy the lake as much as I did. The bathrooms are always clean, the store is stocked with anything you could need and want while camping. The sites were nice, we had a beautiful lake view and plenty of space. Chris, Robert, and Anthony work so hard to keep the resort running and beautiful. I always saw them running around improving the sites and common areas as well as keeping everything else in working order. Mary in the office is sweet as pie and extremely helpful to any questions I had. The new owners have transformed this park into something wonderful and I enjoyed my experience immensely. I can’t say enough good things about the staff and the entire park! Thank you for making my camping experience one to remember forever. I will be coming back and encourage everyone to try it out!

We’ve been staying here for years, and we went to book for this week after a year and found there were new owners- it’s been wonderful! The site is much more user friendly, more accommodations, and the staff are lovely!

Just checked out an ad to rent the owners condo on airbnb. at the Silverline Lakeside Resort. Almost $350 in fees and taxes and $468 in rental. We have RV camped at Silverline before with family and friends and although a nice campground nothing there is worth $808.00 for two nights. Especially with the constant fear of forest fires and smoke most of the late summer and early fall. Needless to say, we are looking towards the Ocean now.
