As others have noted, while the female owner/operator is a ray of sunshine the male owner is unpleasant at best and normally quite rude to both the customers and his wife. I’ve been going to this store for 35+ years (well before they took it over trashed it) and paid the high prices to support a local business, but after how much of a jerk the owner was today, they lost my business.The store has become a dump, the prices are high and you have a 50% chance of dealing with a discourteous man child. Go to Trout Lake and get much better service from Bev and gang.

We stopped here to stock up before heading to the Getaway House cabins, highly recommend it if you didn’t think to bring food with you. Is exactly what you’d expect, local store, prices slightly higher being so far out but they had everything we needed for a weekend trip. Thank you!

over priced, dirty, out dated foods, service with OUT a smile! Big fat NO thankyou, seen mold growing on sweaty fridgerated coolers, seen a mouse running around from under one shelf unit to another, scary is a good word. Have to fill out a star, but place does NOT even deserve a single star!!!

Personally I feel that the prices are a little bit High. Also I feel that the man who works there is void of any friendly and or charming characteristics. And it seems as though it takes him a few moments to react to any type of question that you might have or statements that you may give. However on the other hand the little Asian lady who must be his wife is much more charismatic and friendly. Doesn't speak much English the either of them but out of the two she is the one I prefer dealing with. Now if you are looking for a place where you don't mind paying extra money for the convenience then you are at the right place.

Might wanna check the packaged food you’re buying from there. Bought some moldy doughnuts but didn’t notice until I was 20 minutes away and have had same issues in the past

Customer service is lacking I almost felt like I was bothering the guy that was at the counter weird odds and ends of this and that I guess makes it okay for being way out in the boonies

They didn't really seem very receptive to outsiders. I deliver just north of there weekly and have family in Glenwood. They did have a fairly well stocked convenience store.

The owners were pretty nice, and it is also the closest convenient store that I found around the area. If you are going to Trout Lake in the winter time, if you need to buy vegetable or fruits somewhere, buy it before going there.
