“After spending two great days in Hood River heading out to some great backroads on the way to Condon with some other cars, I picked up a rock in my caliper. Pulled into Gills Point S Tire & they had my wheel off and rock removed in minutes. Reminded me of a fast pit stop I saw the night before watching Talladega Nights.

“I was rear ended last year, and took my truck into D&S for repairs. I worked with the office manager at the time to schedule repairs, but every time I came in there was a delay and they weren't ready to do the work. This happened 3 times before the work was finally worked on, and I didn't feel my time was being respected. The only reason I didn't leave a negative review at the time was Rob, who did the paint. When he realized how much I'd been bounced around by the manager, he worked extra hours to get the truck finished by the time it was to be picked up.
This year I bought a vehicle with a rebuilt title that just needed some paint done, so I thought of Rob again and reached out for a quote. When I contacted them, I was pleasantly surprised to hear the old manger was gone. Tommy, the new office manager, was great to work with. He promptly communicated the timeline for the work, realized a part was missing from the repair work already done, and had my truck ready when they said it would be...and the paint looked great. So if you had issues with them in the past I'd try them again. Thank you!”

“I don't normally write reviews but as a new Sprinter owner in Hood River who has had several disappointing service experiences with Mercedes dealerships in Portland, as well as another local service provider who charges the exact same rates as the dealerships, I was referred to Gillco as another local source for Sprinter service. From the first encounter with the advisor, to the automated documentation process and of course the actual service I received I was overwhelmed. I did not think these type of service providers actually existed anymore. Very knowledgeable on Sprinter service and reasonably priced. They have a new customer for life and if you own a Sprinter in the Gorge, and don't want to deal with the stealerships, this is your service place !”
