“They have this process down. It's efficient use of the volunteers and they make you feel like you are contributing. This was my third time here, and I packaged lentils, dairy and frozen potatoes. After a quick briefing and getting suited up, we are in the task. You get a rhythm going and get quicker. It's more fun when you bring friends, and the time goes fast. Makes me feel like I am giving back a bit.”
“Great historical Seattle theater. Great for Broadway shows/concerts. I'm sure there are restrictions on how they can improve a historical building but I hope they find a way to improve air conditioning/temperature. It can get pretty warm in the theater if it's a full house.”
“My experience was so nice! They saw I had a small child and made sure to share with me their opinion on what would be the most gentle dogs for my son’s sake. I felt very welcomed by Jason and Devon. THANK YOU!”

“If you have no other means available and limited choices Operation Nightwatch will give you a good hot meal.
If you are reading this review and you are curious, unsure or nervous about the service offered I will say to you, do not be, go eat something. The organization is here for you and they are kind and they eagerly want to feed you. By the way, you do not have to be homeless or struggling with addiction or have any mental or physical disabilities in case you're wondering.
No money required, no identification asked for nor a reason, only your name is asked for. Due to aftermath in my pursuit of others first including my former spouse and her safety, my neighbors, my community and my customers too, I am in a very difficult position in my life and I lost everything due to my fortitude.
I AM TRULY BLESSED because I promised God in one of the most difficult positions and tenures of my life with extremely difficult dynamics, I promiseed him I'd continue to help others, my life's pursuit. My suffering is not a liability it is ended by my strength. I asked God... "PLEASE just get my wife to a safe place and I'll do whatever I have to" as we escaped from a terrible living situation. I am blessed knowing she is mostly safe as we've separated and she's safer for the time being as I continue on alone a hard search for work and income. I am pretty tough and a happy man naturally so that really, really helps.
Sometimes you are going to need others to help you same as a boxer, minister or world class mathlete. I am truly "relentless" and if you are reading this, go eat something at Operation Nightwatch. They are relentless also and for you so you can be relentless too.
Operation Night watch, tonight you fed me a good meal and you fed many other souls and you did so with smiles, some words and kindness. You fed me so I can continue representing others with strength of body, mind and spirit.
I am nearly homeless at this time but working very hard to deal with the result of my prayers and so here I am ready as always and fearless as always digging out towards my destiny...to become an incredible source of aid and help to this nation's tenants and residents living in community and residential communities. I am free to pursue such measures, reaffirm and armor such legislation too. Same as any citizen anywhere in our beautiful nation or neighborhoods.
I thank God for people like Operation Nightwatch who ACTUALLY UNDERSTAND what corporations, Inhumane Resources, Directors of Inhumane Resources and property management will do to innocent people and parties that are simply trying to get their due process, their rightful procedures and protections from illegal assault and abandonment. Some are saviors too and completely wonderful as I know is very true. We all fall short, true and with great circumstance and titles come great responsibility. We must help when others are reaching out or screaming out for our help, ownership's duty to, from, of and by such heritage or namesake. Or else, what do we actually have? And what's a name? We don't own anything and nothing is ours to own.
I Thank You and God bless your generous works and sacrifices, you very sincere and kind folks at Operation Nightwatch!”
“Attended the Matcha and Mindfulness class with instructor Bonnie and had the best experience! Her class was intimate, engaging, and was more than we could have expected. We learned about the rich history of tea and she even provided treats to pair with the drinks. I would highly recommend if you are curious about the history of matcha and learn how to make it on your own. The space was beautiful and we look forward to engaging in the work at the Japanese cultural and community center again soon!”
“Gratitude to LLTS for masking Thursdays. This is disability justice at work, small acts of community safety that enacts harm reduction for people with disability to be able to return to thrift knowing Thursdays are safe-enough. such small brilliant strategy, everyone should do this!”
“all kinds of literature for sale at cost that i didn't even know existed! something for everyone seeking recovery (from the 'mothership' of 12-step) even if you're in another 12-step fellowship. this place welcomes volunteers and occasionally holds meetings and gatherings... feels like home away from home. you just have to hang out there a bit to understand, but i'm pretty sure you'll end up glad that you did.”
“Great Ball fields and nice play park for kids of all ages. Clean and in very nice condition. Limited seating for games, so bring your chairs. No concessions and small restroom capacity. Parking lot can not support large tournaments, so plan ahead. Spots are tight even for small SUV. Therefore, your pickup truck or nice car you don't want dinged..uh uh.Restrooms: Very limited capacity and basic park type with cold blow dryer, no soap, possibly no TP.Dog-friendliness: Dogs not welcome inside the playfield area, but are ok in the general park area.”
“It’s usually fantastic, staffed and volunteered by wonderful people who treat everyone with kindness, respect, and dignity. For real, they are beautiful souls. However, today there was someone working there I’d never seen before - an older lady with glasses, a baseball cap, and a limp - and she was so rude. Yelling at the entire line bc more than 10 people went inside at once (tho we had no instruction or clue this was the policy); and yelling at an Asian woman looking at some free bunches of flowers to choose from, “I don’t have time for this!” and when the same smiling Asian woman asked a question in her native language, the worker woman replied, “I speak English!” Horrible and not representative of the rest of the staff and volunteers.”
“The volunteers are very helpful and nice. A great place to check out if you need help.ישוע הוא המלך! >>♥️<< !Jesus is King”

“During the winter, there aren't many booths. However still fun to walk through. Got some good barbecue. There are a few vegetable stands, knife sharpening, soap/lotion, jewelry.”
“Great people to work with. Very dedicated to helping find forever homes for rescues. We rescue several strays a year on average and trust Emerald City to always do what is best for the animals.”
“I went to the kent location to get a sew in. To be honest, I'm from florida and I'm used to the prices being half o fwhat is asked of up here...cost of living is definitely higher up here.im not used to change but the way the young woman did my sew in it took a while for me to get used to it. I've never gotten like a sew i nwhere I can be very versatille with it.Now that I'm used to it I love it. I can do different styles with it. My man and I both think the way they did my hair elevated my look and I feel classier and elevated. I will go back again and willing to pay the price because of how good it looks :)Both the stylist and salon owner were very nice and friendly. They also have serves to help open up hair pores and promote growth so I look forward to scheduling that appointment. I say definitely try this place to get your hair done right. They also have greate hair products to promote hair health and growth. :D”
“An amazingly organized organization contributing to the care of needy kids in Seattle. They work with a multitude of agencies to provide clothing and necessities. Cannot begin to appreciate how much they do and what a great place to volunteer.”
“Very kind people the idea of emulating a store quells the feeling of percussion. The name is very misleading as a market inherently requires a monetary or physical trade.”
“Excellent help to the community. People with an incredible gift of service. Mrs. Olexandra is an Angel and a wonderful person. Always attentive and eager to help. This place is highly recommended.”
“Amazing community resource! Have just about every tool you can imagine. Great not having to buy tools that you might only need once. To people saying they stopped by and no one was there: it's staffed by volunteers, so don't expect it to be able to staff like a for-profit business.”
“If you ever want to donate or volunteer to a worthy organization, Treehouse is it! They are amazing and the services offered are life changing for the recipient(s).”

1900 25th Ave S, Seattle“I enjoyed this location. The older lady who checked me in was very friendly. I got a fairly new blood technician who was visibly nervous. I liked that all the gifts for the July blood donation were available.”
“This is a comforting and lovely place. It's a bit small and could definitely use more space, but otherwise it's a great place for many people who struggle due to various life circumstances, especially LGBTQ+.”
“I've been to the food bank here and it is busy busy, but flows well. Good produce, no spoilage, some meats and dairy offered, they have a clothing closet, they have other services available depending on the funding. Real nice people.”
6:30AM - 5PM
1924 9th Ave, Seattle“The staff was awesome, I needed to do laundry so I had something presentable to wear for my interview and instead of turning me away because I didn't realize how busy they were, instead they squeezed me in and made me feel comfortable and welcomed. They treated me like a normal person and that in itself is worth more than a lot of folks will ever understand. Also the facility is very sanitary and is always being cleaned and the machines are well cared for”
“Missed my connection because of delays and got to save some $ by sleeping in the bunk room at this lovely (and massive) USO, located in the mezzanine level outside security. To the right of Southwests ticket counter is a pair of stairs. Take the left staircase up and enjoy the cup of noodles!”
“Review: Casa LatinaI recently reached out to Casa Latina for some help around my property, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. After a quick call on Thursday explaining my needs, they promptly arranged for a heavy laborer and an advanced gardener to assist me. The $10 fee was a small price to pay for the convenience. Both workers showed up on time and dove straight into their tasks with enthusiasm. Their hard work and great communication skills made everything run smoothly. Not a single hiccup throughout the day! What really impressed me was their expertise. It was clear they knew exactly what they were doing, and they tackled the job with confidence.Overall, Casa Latina exceeded my expectations. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again—they've earned my trust with their professionalism and quality service.”
“The people and staff at Queen Anne helpline are very warm and are genuinely honest. They go out of their way to give people a helping hand when times are at their toughest.”
9:30AM - 3PM
97 South Main St, Seattle“I was their lead cook, and a resident volunteer when a new mgmt team came on board, in or about ‘07. I would leave too soon, transferring to an unnamed (on purpose) Lutheran transitional shelter in the neighborhood of Pioneer Square. They are very near the waterfront - take caution, homeless vets!
That was my own error, as the world turned. They demanded full control over my case mgmt, rather than cooperation with my existing case manager; associated with the VA - and Jim was quite competent as well. They didn’t care, evidently they wanted full credit - the direct result was another year being homeless! If only I had stayed on at the Bread, I’d have had a much better outcome?”
“I had the best first experience at Resilient Heart Animal Sanctuary! The operation is incredibly organized, and the staff, volunteers and visitors were welcoming and friendly. The team provided tons of helpful information and various ways to get involved and support the sanctuary. I highly recommend visiting if you love animals and want to contribute to a great cause—or just want to enjoy some puppy time!”
