Very well managed park, well kept and staff is super friendly. The park is kid and pet friendly, but rules to maintain the safety and decorum are strictly enforced. The sites are very clean and a little close but big enough for larger trailers or diesel pushers if you don't mind being friendly with your neighbors. Bring extra hoses because all utilities are at the very back of the sites.

We stayed at this RV resort, and we were very pleased with everything. Very clean in order bathroom, showers, laundry everything worked very well. Management was very pleasant to deal with. If you get the opportunity to stay here, do it without question and you will really enjoy your time watching all the deer walk through your campsite. Thank you to the management for being polite and helpful and would highly recommend staying at this park. Location is very good.

The park is located close to the harbor. There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are paved and in good condition. Our site, 100, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach and Towed. Services (30/50 amp, water, sewer and Cable) were to the left side. Distancing is very close for a rural park. No site had a vegetation privacy barrier. Each site has a table and a fire pit. Our site was a grass base that was flat but high on the left side. Overall the park was nicely groomed and clean. The park included wifi and cable were poor. The channels included were not prime and we had a hard time even logging on to the Wifi. We did not find any OTA channels. Satellite might be difficult. We did not use the washrooms or showers but we checked and found them clean. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be an okay since it was off season. During peak times it would not be so nice We paid $46.00 per night (inc tax)and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again but not during peak season.

Mary and Mel are very accommodating, always helpful. They keep the park clean and in order. I would absolutely tell anyone camping in Westport that this is the place to stay. The kids have a great time having a great playground and the swimming pool. The wildlife is amazing in the park. Love to see the Deer, Squirls, all types of Birds. Being close to the marina is nice.

I will never stay here again. The management does not enforce the quiet time after 10 pm leaving guests to deal with noisy parties! They advertise cable and there is no cable available. We do a lot of Rv’ ing and found this park lacking! It will also receive a poor review on our RV blog.

We were so disapointed with this place. Although our campsite was huge and nice, we found it really expensive for the minimal service. There were very few showers and no place at all to do the dishes. Also being talked so badly by the tenant when we arrived did not help to feel welcome.

Had the crabby lady give me dirty looks driving out. Stopped and ask if I could help, got a nasty reply of just observing your speed. I was going 3mph. If she is the owner she should be boycotted. If she is a employee, she needs to be fired. Also observed a nasty attitude towards all her customers. Probably will not go back. On my time off I certainly don't need to see this! If anyone stays here.. ...you will see what I mean.

Good camping, and good amount of space. Took hours to get toilet paper in the bathroom and lots of bees during the day. Also, dont be loud after 10pm or the old man will get you.

Stayed at a tent site. It's well maintained and has a nice fish cleaning station. Tent pads are spacious.

We had a nice stay here. The people in the office were very helpful and kind!I would say the tent sites were a bit nicer then the RV spots. They have a cool, wooded location. There are some long term RV tenants that have a bit of clutter around. RV spots don’t have any privacy, kind of parking in a row but hookups are in good working order.Lots to do in the area, too!

Check in lady/manager or owner is a B***h! Completely rude right out the gate to everyone in our party. Kept reminding ya that “this was a bad weekend for you guys to choose” because it was veterans weekend and they were hosting a bunch of them. No clue why that had anything to do with us and she harassed us at our site multiple times talking about the veterans. We were not loud, or rude in anyway. We’ve been coming here for 8 years and have never caused an issue. We payed over $800 for our site for the weekend (large group) and deserve to be treated with respect. All the ice and water refill stations were out of service and there was a burn ban we were not told about so we had no way to cook any of the food we brought. Don’t know if I can recommend this place or not.

American Sunset RV and Tent Resort is a gem on the Washington coast. It combines exceptional facilities, breathtaking views, and a staff that treats you like family. If you're looking for a tranquil escape with a touch of adventure, this resort should be at the top of your list. I’ve been staying here each time I come to Westport, and I can't wait to return to this little slice of paradise for another unforgettable vacation.

WiFi - There really is NO WiFi here. They should not advertise that they have WiFi. We had to leave to be able to get some basic files loaded down for review and be able to get back to vacationing. This is like going to a state primitive site. Bring you Starlink there is a good view of the the northern horizon. It is a quiet and clean basic park. Definitely should not be called a Resort.WiFi requires no password. Most attempts to connect to the WiFi fail. You will have to use your phone to create a Personal Hot Spot.If you do connect to the WiFi the Internet connection is slow and erratic. Most web sites timeout before you get a connection. This is ancient gear. An inexpensive mesh network with outdoor antennas would solve the problem. The front desk did not know who their internet carrier was. If the carrier is supplying any reasonable speed of 50 to 100 Mbps on a mesh network all would be usable.

This place is absolutely underrated and definitely under-advertised. They have a pool! And laundry room, and a shower room. They've got portapotties THAT DONT SMELL HORRIBLE! And regular restrooms.Everything is set with codes as far as laundry and shower rooms so only tenants can get in, you dont have to worry about someone random walking in.. The rules set are heldup, and the place is so clean. Quiet time after 10pm, which is great bc I was worried people would be parting and keeping my kids up, like at other campgrounds I've stayed at. They've gotta giant field that my kids and I flew kites in, the staff was amazing. I've stayed at a few different RV parks, campgrounds and non compare to this! And the PRICE?! Absolutely reasonable, 100%. My family and I will definitely be back this summer and next and next.. oh and they are within walking distance of the beach!Thank you for an amazing time!
