Great place! I visited from the Tri-Cities and met Gilda. She was friendly and let me try something before I bought it to make sure I enjoyed it. Everything I bought was delicious! The fritter, donut, cinnamon roll, quiche, pie, cookie, and dinner rolls. I always look for GF bakeries that sell pastries vs. bakery items because it's easy enough to make cakes at home with a mix. I appreciated the variety of items and will definitely be back.

This is at the Walla Walla Airport. So close to my house. I love the owners and their family that is here and there on occasion. Very nice people. Quality food! And it's fun to watch the airplanes offload their tiny group of passengers. (I hear from locals that they need to get the Seattle Alaska Airlines service to and from back to three flights. Vital for the local economy in Walla Walla!) Love that little Airport! I adore that Bakery. I will be a regular once I get situated in my new home.

Whenever we visit our kids at the university, we stop here. Happy that the airport has something to grab and go if your in a hurry too. Great little place in the small airport. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We ended up getting 2 small pastries, a berry and apple min pie. They were both delicious and when we return, we will be back. My husband also ordered a sandwich to go. He said it was delicious, due to the homemade bread!

For a TINY airport, this place does a pretty good job. Nothing too fancy, just done well.

I've been to Hidden Valley a few times now and every visit is a delight. As someone with Celiac, it's wonderful to have another place I can go for delicious gluten free treats. The apple fritters are always excellent, the quiche is scrumptious, and the bagel dogs are a real addiction. Gilda is so kind and willing to work with customers on special orders. This business is a bit out of the way, but totally worth the drive.

MON-FRI 10-3pm closed SAT/SUN, check hours in case they've changed since this review. HIDDEN VALLEY Bakery is HIDING inside the Walla Walla airport terminal, next to...everything lol. The parking (which is FREE btw), baggage claim, the bathrooms are all in one little area. Just go inside the terminal, you don't need a ticket to get inside, and since there are only 2 flights a day (I think), chances are there won't be anyone around either. This place is a small airport coffee shop so you can dine in if you wish, we didn't though. We were on the way to a wine tasting and I told my family we HAD to stop and buy some GF stuff. FOOD: GLUTEN FREE bagel dogs, quiche, tarts, banana bread, and more. They also serve coffee, food and regular gluten-full pastries too, so everyone can find something they like here. As a gluten free eater, I have a hard time finding GOOD tasting GF breads/pastries etc and usually just skip them and stick to bacon and eggs etc for breakfast. The GLUTEN FREE BAGEL DOG was so good, I tried the beef one first, which was spectactular, and after I finished it, thank goodness I was still there, I ordered the GF sausage bagel dog, which was also amazing. I wish I could have packed a dozen of these in dry ice and taken it back with me. The hot dogs/sausages were really good and the bagel part was so good I couldn't tell it was GF. If I ever find myself back in Walla Walla, I will order ahead and make sure there are a dozen for me to take back. Thank you go Gilda who helped us buy one of everything in the case, she explained how they have a dedicated microwave to reheat your bagel dog if you want it heated, dedicated baking areas for the GF stuff. They do sell their items to other eateries around town but I had this on my itinerary because I wanted to try everything they had.

My sister purchsed gluten-free cinnamon rolls, carmel nut rolls, pecan pie and dinner rolls for the holidays. My daughter has celiac and is very sensitive to gluten. She had no reactions - and we all enjoyed the bakery selections. The pecan pie was the best!

This is one of the best cakes I've ever had. We needed a lemon cake with raspberry filling for my wife's birthday and they came through in a big way. Very fresh and delicious. Not too rich and perfectly balanced. AMAZING service! We will be ordering all Of our cakes from here from now on. If I could give 20 stars, I would.

A STORY OF HARD WORKING AMERICANS, WITH INNOVATIVE IDEAS, WHO NEVER GAVE UP ON THEIR DREAMS.... INSPIRING.This review is based solely on my experience and personal opinion.I went to the Hidden Valley Bakery on a Friday morning, 12/3/21, and it was my very first time.In one of my many duty trips I just happen to find myself at the Walla Walla airport... 3 hours before my scheduled flight. I was the ONLY passenger at the airport and I decided to have a nice breakfast and relax. At the Walla Walla airport there is a Bakery with a unique and very interesting story, the "Hidden Valley Bakery". I walked in and I had the chance to meet and talk to the entire family.... three generations. The server/bartender is their daughter, the pastry chef is the father and the lady that takes the orders is the Mother; oh, and I cant forget the cute little girl who entertains you with her poses while you are eating your breakfast. Here is the story: The Walla Walla airport is a small regional airport that operates on a seasonal basis and survives on regular passengers, not many, that now provides two flights per day only. Quite a few cafeterias tried to survive here at the Walla Walla airport, but due to the nature of the business, surviving on passengers only, hence highly fluctuating income, they all eventually closed down or moved out.The Hidden Valley Bakery's family went to the airport management and proposed a new business model, something revolutionary that would meet both the airport and the family needs. The new model consist of a Cafeteria with a full blown bakery built inside it, so inside the airport building. The Bakery produces many different products all year round and they sell their goods to the nearby businesses and communities; this guarantees a steady income for the Hidden Valley Bakery's family (which allows them to keep the Cafeteria open) and allows the Walla Walla airport's management to keep providing food service at the airport. The Hidden Valley Bakery idea has proven to be successful by a 7 years, to date, collaboration with the airport.Isn't it a Christmas story? The story was told to me by the owner's wife and it got stuck to my head.... a story of hard working Americans, with creative ideas that never gave up on their dreams. Inspiring and Magic..... that's what the Hidden Valley Bakery/Cafeteria is.I had a lovely time there and the old style look gives you a sense of family and comfort that warms you up even on a cold winter day.FOOD: I had one Cappuccino, one Blueberry tart and 2 croissants.... everything was absolutely delicious. I loved the Blueberry tart...Knowing that what you are eating is made right there where you are eating gives your food a special taste... a unique flavor that blends in with a sent of history and a sprinkle of magic.PLACE: While you have breakfast you have an amazing view over the airport runway and over the Bakery equipment. just amazing!!CONCLUSIONS: a genuine and unique family-run bakery..... where tradition and hard work are the main ingredients... You have to try it to understand.

They have delicious gluten free pastries. The Apple fritters are to die for! Best gluten free donuts I've had in a very long time. The pie crust the flaky and crispy. Friendly owner who is very helpful with gluten free. That have dedicated gluten baking area with gluten free only utensils, pans, and so on. Even a gluten free microwave. Got the garlic French bread last time I was in town and the bread was really good. It was light and fluffy bread which is so hard to do with gluten free. Always make a stop here when I'm in town visiting. If your gluten free you definitely need to make a stop here for some really good baked good!
