I have been with Amerigas for about 3 years now and every year when I order propane it's the worst experience I have had. They never deliver within the window they say they will and when I call to try and figure out if they are even going to deliver it at all, after I have already paid them, they just tell me the same lame excuse of "we can't tell you when it's going to be delivered." Either they completely forget to deliver my propane that I have already paid for, they deliver it late and I run the risk of running out, or they deliver more than I requested and try and charge me extra. I will be finding someone else to supply my propane from now on. It's getting ridiculous and madding.

This is the place I always go to fill my tanks. It's usually cheaper than the gas station with someone that knows everything about it. You just pull into the parking lot and he comes out to help you out. He is very knowledgeable about it and is glad to answer any questions.

What a sham of a company. I moved into my new home Dec 2nd, and called Amerigas to establish a contract because the previous owners had left us with only 30% in the tank. I was assured that they would be out the following week to top us off. After a week of watching our propane dwindle, I called yet again, sitting on hold for an hour, while I waited for somebody who could help me. They informed me that my order had not been processed but they would get right to it. I informed them that we had turned off our heat, so that we would still be able to shower and cook. The following day, after hearing nothing, I called again. This time sitting on hold for an hour and a half while I was shuffled from one person to another. They informed me that my order had STILL not been processed. I informed them that we were freezing in our home with no heat, because at this point we were below 10%. They were very apologetic, and told me they had done their job correctly this time. I called back the following day, sat on hold for 2 hours, and was hung up on before ever speaking to a person. This was a Friday, so we then went through the whole weekend without heat. My husband called Monday, sat on hold for hours. He was informed that because we had let it get so low (not) that they would have to give us a safety check. But, since we had no heat, they would put us on an expedited list of a phone call within 24 hours to schedule the appointment for the safety check. Then after that we could schedule delivery. Three days later they call about the safety check appointment. By then we have called FerrelGas and been promised 30 gallons by the following day so we could use our heater again. We cancel with amerigas, and then, three days later, who shows up at our home at 9 pm to fill our tanks? Amerigas. No notice. No safety check. No appointment. They were 15 days too late. I cannot believe the amount of hoop jumping this company has put my family through.

One of my small 1 gallon propane tanks was up for its recertification. I took it here and asked them to recertify the tank and fill it up. OK, We will call you when its done. 2 weeks later, I havent' heard anything so I gave them a call and they said my tank was ready for pick up. I drove over, picked it up, and was about to pay for it and was told - We are not going to charge you anything since it took us so long. I will definately be a repeat customer! The only bad thing is they are open M-F, 9-5 FYI - This place is under new management, Its now known as JD Propane, friendly guy, I think the prices went up about 20 cents a gallon but still more then a gallon cheaper then the mini marts
