Its a great little store and definitely something fun to do on the island but boy is the lady who runs the place something. Today after I very patiently and quietly already waited in line for 45 minutes as she chit chatted with the lady in front of me in line, it was then my turn to check out. After she asked me where I was from and I stated West Seattle and she actually rolled her eyes at me.. whatever that means? Then when my total was less than $5 she scolded me very loudly so everyone could hear (including people outside who commented as we left) for another 25 minutes about how I "shouldnt do that to small businesses " and "young people are the reason you get taxed so much" . Frankly, I have a hard time believing that but thats past the point. Genuinely when I entered your store it was to have a great time and maybe find some treasures. But to have my patience already not even acknowledged and then to go one step further and make me feel like I committed a crime by trying to pay with card. Trust me, lesson learned and you got your point across (within the first 5 min of the scolding). Hopefully you were able to have a coffee and a breath because sheesh lady

And the winner of this year's Scrooge award goes to the owner of the Treasure Island store!I went there recently and she said multiple times that "everything" in the store was 20% off. I found an item that was already marked down 50% and expected to get 20% off the new price. Nope. She said that she won't honor the 20% off and she might as well just give it to me then. Congratulations! Instead of getting several hundred dollars you got nothing. Oh, and look up the meaning of the word everything!

If you ever randomly find yourself smack dab in the middle of Vashon Island... please don't panic. No, you didn't go back in time. No, this isn't an alternate dimension. That's just how the place looks. No, there aren't any pirates... but there be plenty treasures at Treasure Island. Definitely a lot of whose it's and what's it's and trinkets galore.

This place is incredible! You really should stop in. The owner, Marci (sp?), is just wonderful. She's got the best stories to tell and immediately seems like someone you've known your whole life. If you're looking for something specific, this might not be the store for you. If you're looking for something with a story behind it that you didn't know you needed til this very minute, this is definitely the spot. If you need the perfect gift, this is it. She has loads of vintage and antique jewelry, clothes, purses, housewares, and so much more. We will definitely be going back soon.
