“Giraffe consistently meets my needs for surprising, beautiful items for my home and for gifting. The linens are of outstanding quality and everything is ethically sourced. The greeting cards decorated with quilling are my go-to for thank you notes and gift cards. They are stunning. I have been shopping at Giraffe for at least 10 years and plan to continue long into the future.”

“This is a fantastic place for your Christmas stocking stuffers. My favorite is the refurbished fabric quilts ( not a stocking stuffer!). It is also the go to place for small ones gifts”

“While in town visiting family we came across this amazing store . The owners were so friendly and helpful . We have bought glass around the world and their glass ranks up there with the best we have found . We purchased quite a few pieces and they look even better in our home than they did in the store . We will be a frequent buyer for sure .”

“We bought a second-hand Kasala couch and approached the SODO Outlet hoping to order new cushion covers to give the discontinued couch a new life. Not only were they able to reach out to their manufacturer to do so, but the staff (shout out to David!) was exceptionally helpful at all stages of the process.”

“Excellence from start to finish. We had a builder installed cabinet depth fridge next to a cabinet depth freezer. When the fridge began to die we decided to replace the two units with a single conventional fridge/freezer unit - and add cabinets to the empty space. The challenge was that they needed to match the existing cabinets so that it looked seamless. I found Showcase Cabinetry on the website of the cabinet manufacturer (Bellmont) and stopped in without an appointment to check them out.Mike greeted me and right away I knew I was in the right place. He answered all of my questions and gave me options - including less ambitious options. He never tried to upsell me, he just laid out a good list of options.Mike has a great relationship with Albert Lee Appliance and was able to refer us to a superb salesman who also answered all of our questions without trying to "gold plate" anything. Once we selected the unit Mike came out to take final measurements and we ordered our cabinets.Mike's installer (Bryon) was a master craftsman. It was evident watching him work that he takes pride in what he does -- and he was meticulous in alignment, leveling, and ensuring we were getting exactly what we wanted.Again, from design -- to coordination with other vendors -- to installation, it was exactly what we wanted. Thanks Mike!”

“I love exploring Seattle's Georgetown neighborhood. It has evolved over the years and there are pockets of some gentrification. It's always fun to check out the retail spots, cafes, and restaurants. I have my current faves on rotation, but it's great to discover a new spot. Housewright Gallery has been established since 2018, but this was my first visit (6/10/23).It's been awhile since I've done neighborhood art walks or visited specific art galleries or museums on a routine basis. I've only stopped to view installations in Belltown and First Hill this year. So it was great find to seek out specifically Housewright Gallery on S. Bailey, next door to Mezzanotte. It was a rainy Saturday and the neighborhood was setting up for two concurrent outdoor events. I was able to navigate the detours and found nearby street parking before the community festivities commenced.I wanted to check out Housewright Gallery's annual Pride Summer Salon, featuring mid century to current works from Northwest School artists and a collection of silver gelatin photographs taken by Kurt Timmermeister. I consider Kurt a modern day renaissance man. As mentioned earlier, this was my first visit to Housewright Gallery and did not know what to expect. I was warmly welcomed after I introduced myself and my intent to see Kurt's featured photos. It was great to view all the gallery artwork and photography up close, at a distance, and wander freely. I've been binging on my favorite Canadian interior design show segments, so it was a thrill seeing all the beautiful, carefully curated items throughout. I also gravitated to the furnishings, book collection, and Japanese ceramics. I enjoyed my visit and absolute admiration for the overall collection from the variety of artists and craftspeople.”

“The location of this on Google maps is slightly off. It’s on the side of the animarum building. Awesome signage and very cute little store. Good gifts and supplies for throwing female-themed parties.”

“Among all of the amazing gift and decor ideas we have been very delighted to find that a serious furniture store is at the heart of The Garden Room and Home with very carefully curated tables, storage, chairs of all types and more. We love the coffee table we found and are excited that we can do more decorating from a quality locally owned business. Thank you Garden Home and Room!”

“Love this place. Every time I pass through SeaTac on my way home, I go into Fireworks and look for Xmas gifts for my family. I always find interesting and fun gifts, including children’s books. It seems like the purchasing staff work hard find super cool items. [I almost never give 5 stars, so this is my highest compliment.]”

“I went to the Downtown location a couple of months ago and had great customer service. I had called ahead and spoke to a salesperson about the types of products I was looking for and she was even prepared with items for me to look at when I walked in.”

“When I was a child there was a mannequin here that looked like a vampire or some creepy old grave digger. It terrified me to the point I'd get anxious while we drove by. I believe that the mannequin is now gone, but proceed with caution.”

“Ross dress for Less needs to be put on Google maps. It deserves to be in Westwood Village for a good reason. I am unsure why it doesn’t show up on Siri in Google maps. Worth an in and out visit.”

“Big shout out to Imagine Great Things for stocking my favorite Christmas candles--Frasier Fir by Thyme. Wide selection of fair trade items. Owner is also very kind and let Goodman MS band kids play in front of her storefront on a busy December Saturday. She even gave them a generous donation towards equipment for marching band.”
