The staff is helpful and kind - and if they don't know something, they'll say so. Their selection of dog food (especially if you have a dog that has allergies) rivals that of any Vancouver store I've been to (and, yes, that includes all the big chain pet stores). They have more types of Taste of the Wild pet food in 5lb, 14lb and 28lb kibble-style bags, as well as canned wet food. They carry a wide selection of plants and there is often a decent amount that are native even, which is quite nice. The Wilco brand soil is some of the best soil I have found anywhere, both for the wide variety of applications it can used in as well as it not containing anything harmful to microorganisms that are important for healthy soil, which will produce healthy plants.All in all, it's an excellent place to go for a variety of reasons for dog owners to livestock farmers, from the most beginner patio container gardeners to the most experienced landscapers. There's truly something for everyone here.

I stopped by Wilco to see about insect being for my garden. Although they didn't have insect netting, I was presently surprised at the number of spring plants they had. From shrubs, flowers, ornamentals to vegis and a good sale going on as well. They did have a small section of organic vegi starts as well.

This is literally my fave store. I could spend my life thinking of ideas of things to make and so many things in this location. I will always be the that is the loudest saying keep me away from the chickens or i’ll take them home with me. No joke. Had 22 at one time.
