I just relocated to Vancouver WA and needed to refill my scripts. I have a script for a generic statin that cost me $17 for a 90 day supply in Florida. Walgreens wanted to charge me $157 and they tried to do the same on a generic blood pressure medication boosting the price of a $7 script to $115 after their discount. They are simply attempting to rip people off.

Customer service is bad, and the place is always closed early, by hours. Very poorly managed.

Cashier Stephanie was very rude and unprofessional. She was rolling her eyes, tapping her fingers and acting like it was hard for her to push buttons. I was mentioning to her that I had a digital coupon that should go through and suddenly she didn’t know how to do her job. I am extremely dissatisfied and disappointed with the cashier we dealt with today. I then tried another transaction and she told her shift lead to don’t leave because he will need to void the transaction again. Joke was on her when the digital coupon did what it was suppose to do.

I was in today and Kelly was extremely rude. I can't believe I was treated so poorly. I can't believe that they allow a manager to behave that way.

Lead pharmacist (blonde) was very rude today regarding an insurance issue; I never speak to my own clients or anyone else this way. I raised my eyebrows and she tried to backtrack, but I would like to see an upfront effort to show some modicum of concern for customers. The pharmacy is not overwhelmed or busy, either. I also learned that Walgreens does not notify patients about insurance issues through its online portal or text system. This is not patient-centered care.

I really appreciate Walgreens and the pharmacist answering the phone before closing time and helping me at the end of the day. They were kind and really helped our baby!

Does Walgreens go out of their way to hire the slowest cashiers possible?
