I absolutely love this store! The staff is incredibly warm and helpful, making the entire experience feel personal and welcoming. The atmosphere, paired with amazing music, creates such a pleasant vibe. And the products? Truly works of art! I was so impressed that I couldn’t resist purchasing a pot. This place is a 10/10, and there’s no doubt I’ll be back again. Highly recommend!!

UPDATE: The location has moved to the Vancouver Mall and OMG it's incredible. Its HUGE! They also brought in more plants and TONS of the furniture! Obsessed.
Oh, let me tell you about The French Door – it's an absolute gem! The moment this shop graced The Providence Academy with its presence, it was as if a burst of vitality had been injected into both the surroundings and the very essence of the building itself. Now, I must emphasize that any construction happening nearby is merely a temporary inconvenience; just follow the music and signs at any entrance – your journey to this hidden treasure awaits.
The anticipation for the completion of this transformation is palpable. It's like a match made in heaven, and with the holiday season just around the corner, one can only imagine the sheer beauty that's in store. The shop has never looked more inviting, and it's poised to make this holiday season unforgettable.
Speaking of unforgettable, Catherine's dedication to The French Door for over 8 years, especially in the wake of the pandemic, is nothing short of remarkable. Her commitment to this space has truly made it a haven for all who visit.
But it's not just about supporting local businesses; it's about embracing the unique charm of The French Door. The shop proudly showcases a wide array of independent goods, each with its own story and character. You'll find yourself lost in a world of artisanal craftsmanship and one-of-a-kind treasures.
And let's take a moment to appreciate the captivating photography that adorns the shop. Those images are nothing short of breathtaking. They perfectly capture the essence of The French Door and the heartwarming experience it offers. It's a testament to the dedication and passion of the people behind the scenes.
In my humble opinion, there's no other place that can rival the value, experience, and genuine warmth that The French Door exudes. It's a must-visit destination for anyone seeking a taste of Vancouver's hidden treasures. So, don't hesitate – step through that enchanting door and immerse yourself in the world of The French Door. You won't regret it for a second!

The owner(?) behind the front desk was rude when my girlfriend and I went into the store. We were the only ones there and looked around the place before selecting a couple plants to purchase. As we were wandering around, she hovered around us and gave the vibe that she thought we were trying to steal or something. We promptly paid for the plants and went out to our cars. As we were leaving, she noticed she had come outside and took pictures of our car. Idk what her problem was.
We go thrifting and to vintage shops a lot and rarely do we feel unwelcome like we did here. We definitely won't be going back and I recommend that people steer clear.

UPDATE: Now located inside Providence Academy, perfect space that reflects their timeless charm One of my absolute favorite stores in all of Vancouver, WA. Such a lovely little European-inspired shop chock full of endless goodies for the home and garden. Employees are extremely kind and helpful, but best of all the prices are extremely reasonable. I could spend hours just looking at all the different little nooks full of surprises.

I was in today looking forward to shopping a ‘new to me’ store. The photos looked intriguing. I said Hello in a cheerful voice as I entered and was met with a dour faced woman who was obviously off to a bad day. I selected several items to purchase and had them at the front counter. I asked if a S&P set was antique or not. A fair question I think in a store that Sells vintage, reproductions, and new items. I received a sour look and was told all the items in the store were “found” objects and antique. Ok, not true, but let’s move on. I had aver $330 worth of items thus far and asked if the owner would consider making $30 of and antique porch line owl marked at $180. I was asking for less than a 10% discount off my total purchase. I bet store employees get more than that. I had looked up the item on life and the owners price was actually $50 over market, but I asked for a small discount. More dour looks and a begrudgingly agreement to text the owner, who followed up with a $5 discount offer. Needless to say I left the item there. I do not plant to return to this store. Being rude to a buyer - no matter how much they are spending - is the quickest way off my shopping list. I Don’t recommend this store at all.
