extremely disappointed with the housekeeping policy and the front desk staff's attitude. After a long day, we returned to my room to find it hadn't been serviced. When we called the front desk, we were told it was our responsibility to request housekeeping. This was never communicated to us, and it's contrary to the usual expectation that housekeeping is provided unless requested otherwise.
What made matters worse was the dismissive attitude of the front desk staff. Instead of addressing our concern professionally, they blamed us for not knowing their unusual policy. This lack of courtesy and empathy significantly affected our experience.
Better communication of policies and a more considerate approach from the staff could have made a big difference. I hope the management addresses these issues to improve the overall guest experience.

Noteworthy details: Service desk staff has horrible social skills talking with people. They are rude and do not know how to answer a question clearly. They act as if you are bothering them and are short and rude in their demeanor and tone. They discriminate against customers. Treat some customers like they’re homeless people asking them for spare change. The breakfast staff was late twice. Cleaning crew was very professional. I will not be staying here again.

Someone on the staff is running a credit card fraud business. We had a total bill of $814 and ended up being charged $2,056 over the course of 5 seperate transactions of differing dollar amounts. The on site manager was rude and told many lies when I called to have the issue addressed. Ended up calling Marriott corporate and the local police to get the issue resolved.
In response to the bellow response. It's a convenient excuse but doesn't account for the variation in the amounts charged. In this case we were charged 5 times. Two for $406.94, two for $405.94 and one for $430.00. Instead of blaming an IT issue which if the case, would have resulted in multiple charges for the same amount each time, Take accountability and acknowledge that you hired a bad apple. Figure out who it is and prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law.

I stayed here for my son‘s baseball tournament. The second night I stayed, I got very limited sleep secondary to several girls on the second floor, running up and down the floors, being loud and stomping on the floor. It was very discouraging. Well, past 11 PM.
Other than that, I felt the hotel was very nice. But when you get a lack of sleep and a nice hotel, it is very discouraging and I will not elect to stay at this hotel again.

Great place to stay if you’re in the Portland/Vancouver area for any occasion. Affordable, great breakfast, and close to everything.

Our check in time was moved back with no notice and zero other options. Front desk staff was not helpful. When we were able to check in the light above the bed and in the bathroom did not work. The bathroom was also dirty and very dated. Would not stay at this location again and would look at other options in this area.

Our window shades didn't close, not exactly good privacy and had light shining into the room. It was uncomfortable. Paid parking although there is plenty of parking. Breakfast is standard. Worked for a night but nothing to write home about

Stayed here for four nights June 11-15.. We’ve stayed here at least once a year for multiple years. Multiple issues this trip. No one cleaned the room or dumped the trash. We had to request fresh towels twice to finally get fresh ones. Had to go get toilet paper from the service staff. No refilling of in-room coffee. The TV never worked properly. The internet broke and told me to call an 800 number for a work around. So basically no service. Will not stay here again.

I am a Bon Voy member, and my reservation at Residence Bon Voy got over booked, I was moved to Springhill Suites. Other guests that were not members did not have their reservations changed ? Springhill is much more dated and rooms very dark. Coffee this a.m. was cold, not what I expected. Not typical experience, but overbooking and moving guests that are members is not acceptable practices.

Stayed here with my family for 3 nights. Rooms were very nice and clean and the beds were very comfy. Breakfast was pretty good! The staff that was checking us in, Monique, was very friendly, professional and welcoming! Will love to stay here again.
