Long line, 1 cashier and half a dozen employees on the floor. We asked if they would open 1 more register but they didn't care. Poor management or training perhaps.

I went in yesterday to get some help learning how to do my eyebrows. I am a cancer survivor and chemo left me with next to nothing. Hazel was absolutely wonderful. She listened to what I wanted, got me the tools I needed and taught me how to achieve the results I was looking for. All the while, being the sweetest cheerleader. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing makeup help and/or tips. Thank you so much Hazel!

Walked in yesterday looking for something comparable to Clinique and I asked 3 employees as they were standing around talking, they were not helpful at all, one attempted to look on her phone but when I realized they was not really trying to help me, I walked over to skin care, and not one of followed with other ideas or a product that is known for what I told them I was looking for. Ulta is way more helpful and is about making the customer feel welcomed regardless if you wear makeup or not, I am masculine but still like to have nice skin, I felt excluded big time coming into this store. Not a good feeling!

I wanted to drop a couple hundred on a nice cologne for my husband’s anniversary gift, but they were not able to give me any samples to take home to have him test. Not dropping that kinda of cash without making sure he’ll like it. If you sell fragrance you should be able to do a sample of everything.

Walked in and was never greeted, even though there were only 3 customers inside the store. Helped myself find a color compact and continued to shop for some other things, still was never approached or asked if I needed help. Made my way up to the register where I waited in line, with only one person being checked out. Waited for a bit to be helped, waited and waited. I finally got tired of it and left without my purchase. I have never experienced such horrible customer service before. Im always greeted and helped when I shop at Ulta or the Sephora in the JCP, busy or not someone always helps. Those girls/women need to do better.

Had a makeup lesson by Hazel and she did a fabulous job. I’m older and was nervous about coming in and she was super friendly and supportive.

Went in to exchange/return a bottle of body spray and mascara that I purchased a couple of weeks ago. The cashier asked me if there was anything wrong with them. The mascara wasn’t that great and the body spray smelled like cherry medicine. I wanted to exchange for a different scent. She took the bottle of body spray and smelled it and showed someone else and said that it smelled like alcohol. Then she took it to the back and came back and told me that it appeared to be tampered with and that she thinks I poured alcohol into the bottle and that she wouldn’t give me money back just store credit which was fine because I just wanted another scent. I just can’t believe that she said that I poured alcohol into the bottle. She was extremely rude! If it was tampered with it’s definitely on Sephora. I will never shop at that store again.

I was introduced to the store by my daughter. At first, I was overwhelmed by all of the selection and different brands. Once we asked the sales representative for help, they made things much better. They walked us through the brands and compared them for us. They even offered to try samples on us prior to purchasing them. If you find yourself at the store and feeling lost, just ask for a sales person they are amazing!

The only things that kept me coming back to Sephora in the past were the perfume samples and the birthday gifts. They no longer do perfume samples, and you can no longer redeem your birthday gift unless it's within one week of the day. Since Sephora no longer stands by the perks that made it worth shopping with them, I sadly don't see myself shopping here in the future.
