Whoever was 'in charge' when I arrived today was in the back just talking to her coworker (employee) with such disrespect and disgust that just going into the building was a drag. But then when I simply asked what color they thought would pair nice with purple I got a mansplained run down of how to lighten my hair (didn't ask but okay) and what warm tone hair dye or light tone I should use, just complete nonsense and then she proceeded to admonish me because I told her I wasn't asking about lightening my hair I just wanted a color pair. Pretty terrible interaction overall. Definitely will be going out of my way to travel to another Sally's.

Honestly, I used to like this place. I know what I'm doing when it comes to bleaching my hair though. My wife and I do our hair, specifically mine, regularly. I decided I would do something new and go completely white, which IS in fact possible despite what the manager or whatever she is will tell you. My sister in law does hair for a living and I wish I would've just paid her to get the product from the place she shops at. The product I was recommended turned my hair a shade of pink, EVEN THOUGH, I followed exactly how I was told to apply according to the manager. I think her name is rose? I don't know. I'm sure she's nice if you're not talking about hair, but to make someone feel uncomfortable and treat them like they're a complete moron and don't know what they're talking about when it comes to hair is something else. Yes, I'm a guy, but that means absolutely nothing. I've died my hair many different colors for different awareness's (mental health; purple, green, and teal. And breast cancer; pink) each time coming out flawless and without the recommendation I was given. I came back the next day to return the garbage product I was recommended, they wouldn't return or at least give me the product that would fix this screw up. Thanks but no thanks. Y'all should stop treating your customers like they don't know what they're doing because chances are, many of them actually went to school for this and it's clear that whoever recommended this product to me had zero clue what they were doing. I know me not shopping there isn't going to hurt their business, but if I can at least warn you about going, then I've done my due diligence. If I could give 0 stars, I would. But I guess 1 will suffice and that's only because there's one gal there that was actually really nice and not all in your face like she knows everything and you know nothing. If you're going to shop here, research everything like you're doing a paper about your processing. Then you can at least go in and tell them to kindly leave you alone or that they're absolutely wrong when they try to make you feel d**** Do better Sally's... teach your workers about hair, but definitely do better.. can't wait to spend money to fix my hair and do it with proper product.

We love Sally's Beauty. They have wonderful customer and hospitable. The have all things beauty both men and women. They have a great supply of cultural products that serve people of color. When you get a chance stop by Sally's and pick up what you need for your personal beauty.

The gal that helped me today figure out the best way to curl my forever straight hair is amazing. I wish I could remember names, but she mentioned going to beauty school in the 90s.Anyway she was amazing and got me the perfect products and explained in detail how to get the results I wanted. I've been fighting curls for a long time and finally got the results I am looking for for my wedding next week. Thank you thank you thank you! Always love this shop but finally have a very good reason to leave a 5 star review.

Bought a comb and was charged $3 more than what the price tag says. Was told to come back next day to talk to manager but was lied too because the manager was not working the next day. Very poor customer service. Should honor what price tag says and not rip people off and lie to them. DO NOT SHOP AT SALLY'S!!!

Poor service. Too busy on the phone to service the customer ready and waiting to pay. I guess people cannot multi task anymore. Waited longer than I should have and then she offered to hold it for me.. she was going to be a while.

The sales person that helped me was THE BEST! She needs a raise! I didn’t get her name, but she knew her stuff and assisted and taught me a lot in my self bleaching needs! I’m going back home to Texas next weekend and want my hair good!!! She was amazing! Give her a raise:)!! I’ll definitely be back!

Another example of excellent customer service! About a week ago I bought some mascara from Sally Beauty. I only used it a few times and when I went to use it this morning, as I pulled the brush out there was mascara oozing everywhere. It was like thick creamy peanut butter gushing out and I could not make it stop. As you can see by the picture, I even tried to put the product back in the container with my fingers with no luck. I returned the mascara to the store today and was so relieved when they happily and quickly exchanged my mascara for a new tube.

Rose is very knowledgeable. She helped me find the right toner and developer. There was another gal at the register who was readily available to help with my purchase. Even with the store being mildly busy, I got all the help I needed!
