The one upside to this place is that the Chinese food part of the deli has my favorite dish. However, I was underwhelmed and, frankly, disgusted by what I saw today. Ordered a few entrees and the person who served us, while friendly, he made a greasy mess of every box of food and presented them to us. I went to get napkins to wipe them off, clearly uncomfortable with the state of the containers, had to ask for a bag or larger box for one because it was too greasy to even wipe down. He then just set the bag next to the container for us to take care of. Serving on a line like that can be a messy job, that is way there are SOPs in place. The employee should've changed his gloves and repackaged the food when i voiced my concerns with the mess. It was rather disappointing.

Always got what I need, quick, easy, but we pay for convenience. Prices are highier than almost every other local grocer.

Buying meat here sucks it stinks is slimy And they just change the tags and allot of bad attitudes from employees. A few are nice but majority very rude. Always have things in the wrong spot so i never know the actual price

Not only was it safe, it was also the conplete opposite of hostile. Nobody made any sudden movemets in my general direction. Nothing blew up. And i was not accosted by anybody asking me to "help find their lost puppy" in the parking lot.

Courtesy very helpful in applying coupon codes in self checkout. When discovered discount for first 2 items only (I had 6!) she offered to discount an additional. Excellent way to treat customers & appreciated!

Safeway is incredibly overpriced!This store is no exception.Parking spaces are tiny, food is expensive and when they do have a sale…that item is under stocked.

We went here to get some lunch in the Deli section. They make fresh sandwiches, and wraps. They have freshly made lunch and dinner packages made to go, fried deli section, fresh cheeses and meats, etc. Karen K. Made our lunch. we ordered a chicken bacon ranch wrap and a turkey sandwich. Karen was very polite and friendly. She went above and beyond to make sure we wanted our food just how we liked it, asking about how much toppings and sauces we wanted on them etc. She was even supposed to be off work right when we got there and she still had a smile and wanted to help us with our lunch order! By far the best experience! Thank you Karen our food was delicious!

I’ve been to this safeway NUMEROUS of times and I’ve only been ID when I was physically purchasing alcohol and vice versa the other person I was with was ID’d when I was with them as they were purchasing.Tonight, I was with my significant other and he was pulling out his card and I explained I had left my ID at home in self checkout. The lady immediately said “can’t sell these to you” and took the alcohol. When I asked why this has never been a problem before, trying to explain that in the past that only the person purchasing was asked for ID. She responded “it’s policy”. I understand there are policies but Safeway please do better- train ALL of your employees to enforce policies so someone doesn’t look like the bad guy. And for that employee please show some respect, do not cut people off before they finish even asking a question, AND PROCEED TO WALK AWAY? I was only asking a question to understand since this has NEVER been an issue before. Especially since I was extremely nice let alone cooperative, it’s disappointing with the lack of customer service from this representative. Sad to see this Safeway go so far below the standard with policies and customer care as I’ve been coming here for well over 12 years.

This store is out of stock on at least a couple items every time I go. I understand being out of stock once in a while, but every time?? And that's just what I need. I see plenty of bare shelf spots for other items I don't buy, so I'm sure many shoppers are experiencing this frustration. It's not just a stocking the shelves issue. It's a buying issue. Whenever I ask if they have more of something in the back, they never do. And if I ask when they're getting more, they either don't know, or it's at least a week out. Really? You can't stock a week's worth of stuff so you don't go more than a day or two without supply? I find there are certain items that are regularly out of stock because it's popular. Here's a tip, Safeway manager ... if you sell a lot, buy a lot! I don't believe it's just a supply-side issue. Other stores in the area don't seem to have such empty-self problems. This Safeway just doesn't seem to be good at managing their inventory.

This isn't the worst Safeway in the area. However, I've been more and more disappointed to see how far Safeway has declined over the years.I know that grocery stores as a whole are doing their best to protect themselves from the criminal elements in today's society, however, I still find it irritating that I cannot take my own bottle of alcohol to the checkout when I'm done shopping.I also find it irritating that they close one set of doors after a certain time at night.Again, I understand the reasoning, but there has to be a better way for a store to protect themselves from theft without treating all their customers like potential thieves.

I’ve been overcharged numerous times, whether shopping in-store or online - far more often than other grocery chains. They’ve lost me as a customer. Beware of the listed price not matching what you’re charged on your receipt. Additionally, for online orders, I’ve received poor quality produce more than once - items that are already starting to mold.

We have been shopping here for years and it is convenient to where we live. We have been disappointed how many times we come in and see empty shelves and also now very little gluten-free options they now don't carry. The prices seem really high compared to other nearby grocery stores. I hope Safeway can get their stuff together as they are a great store and when visiting other Safeway stores in the area they seems more stocked on many products and more options for individuals that have no other choice but to purchase gluten free items.

Higher in price than some other major grocery stores but their App is great. Have been able to get some great deals. Mainly shop these deals. Sad that $5.00 Friday is gone but understand prices have gone up.

Solomon has the absolute best customer service and amazing attitude. He is truly an exemplary employee and person. I drive all the way from Washougal to this store just because the service here is much better entirely. I appreciate this store a bunch.
