This is an awesome Safeway. I don't know why people would give it bad reviews. They have awesome employees and the store is always clean and well stocked. I love how there aren't employees EVERYWHERE like some of their competitors. I can come in and just take my time and breathe because the store is big and not overcrowded. It's definitely busy but it doesn't feel that way. One of my favorite stores and definitely a regular go to plus they have tons of deals on food, weekly coupons and discounts on gas. They also have tons of organic options as well as plant based options too if one is looking for that. Simply love this store. Keep up the great work. Thank you!!

If you're thinking of shopping here, don't bother. I'd say shop at the Safeways either on 112th and Burton, or the one on 164th and Fourth Plain. This store has a bad reputation and history on how they treated their employees and had never disciplined the previous store manager for her toxic attitude towards her employees along with her prejudice views.

Starbucks in this Safeway has failed again…Everytime I order my drink it’s wrong. EVERY TIME.It is not a hard order. Double tall, hazelnut, mocha breve. We have lived here for over 10 years. They have yet to get it right.Todays coffee; No hazelnut, light chocolate, bitter coffee.I will not order Starbucks again. No matter what area I am in.

The food in the deli gave me and my girlfriend the sheets. It was the fried chicken , the JoJo's , or the coleslaw. I won't be going back there ever again. Eat at your own risks. You've been warned.

This Safeway does not care to help their customers, they are on break. But leave the water running. Been waiting like I am invisible and was told they will help me when they get back from break. Worthless customer service.

Crews are kind and nice, fruits and vegetables are very fresh. But breads and Gatorades are expensive than Winco even I used a coupon or membership card but they have a coupon exclusion for some items.

Quick and convenient. They had what I went in for. When the self checkout asked for my club card, I asked the employee if I could get a club card. She told me, "It doesn't work like that! You gotta get your own card and bring that in!"I had assumed one would get a club card at the stores it is honored in. Apparently, "It doesn't work like that!"

Store lay out is hard to follow. Also cashier made 2 mistakes on ring up product. I caught one in the check out and then one after checking my receipt. I did go back in and they correct it. Mistake was relate where mark down sticker was placed on items.

First, I never make it a point to bother reviewing places on Google unless it's something that has outright earned my attention (bad or good). Today's Jason Momoa Vodka signing at this Safeway location was an example of how NOT to treat people that come in with a positive, unobtrusive and polite attitude simply to connect with Jason's people as a media person who works for a multi-million company who manufactures Jason Momoa licensed collectibles. The lower level staff at this location were friendly, willing to assist and amazing! However, management in the middle of the chain here were not only rude, but condescending, and made it a point to pass the buck with my requests to simply to connect with a rep of Jason's or the Vodka brand. Busy or not, it wasn't until I met the Store Director of this location that I received any kind of attention or respect. As a Desert Storm 0331 Marine with a purple heart, which I don't mention at the point of contact, you would think that kindness would translate well in your own country, but it seems employees back here in the States work for companies with the mantra of customer service yet don't actually apply this theory to it's friendlier and respectful core customers. I was even a 3 year PIC employee of Safeway around the pandemic, mentioned that, and was still given a "lack of interest" attitude by several managers at this location. Brian (outside line control) and Tony (self-check) were but a few of the engaging experiences here and not until I finally dealt with Store Directors from other locations did I get any type of courtesy. I will also mention that many of the reps for this Vodka brand-itself had a Hollywood better-than-you attitude. I was even an actor after the Marine corps in Hollywood and didn't witness this kind of behavior. Overall, it was Safeway's middle management and mid-level brand reps that made this experience a complete waste of a Monday afternoon. It became less about connecting with Jason Momoa to deliver preview copies of his new line of collectibles (even know I am aware the Actors strike posed an issue) and more about simply leaving the event because of the way I saw people being talked to and treated by staff who weren't even remotely acting out of line. In the end, because of Jason's right hand man and a random store director, I was able to get in seconds what 90 minutes of finger pointing and bad attitudes could not. Overall, not a good experience and I am glad to give any other Safeway location my business as a customer in the future.

I live down the street and have shopped almost exclusively here for the past 12 years. It is convenient, the employees are friendly, and something is always on sale.I think tonight was the last time I shopped here in the evening. I was sad to see when they brought in self-check stands a few years ago, but was happy to see that at least one check stand always had a cashier at it.Tonight I was stunned to see that the only check stand open was the self-service one. Had I known ahead of time that I was the cashier, I wouldn't have shopped here. I already had my cashier job in the early 90s. If I wanted to be a cashier, I would apply to be one.It makes sense to me to always have at least 1 register manned so customers have the option to wait in line or use the self-service registers. Tonight I wasn't allowed to choose, I was forced to check myself out. I was injured in a car accident and have a difficult time standing in one position for extended periods of time. I had a full cart and had to stoop down to get items from the bottom of the cart, and then had to scan them and then load them back into my cart. I am in a great deal of pain right now and my weekend will most likely be spent using a heating pad.The person overseeing the registers asked me how my evening was. I told her that I wasn't prepared to check myself out. Yes, that wasn't very positive of me to say, but it was the truth. She walked past me and ignored me the remainder of the time I was there. Both before and after I checked myself out, there were 2 employees standing between the service desk and the self-check out chatting away and were laughing. I had never seen these two employees before, and I probably won't again since I don't plan on shopping at Safeway in the future.I was really disappointed in the level of customer service that was displayed tonight. I started shopping at around 9pm, and to be honest, I didn't recognize anyone that was working tonight. As I mentioned, I've shopped at this store 12+ years. Safeway used to be the one setting the example for the other grocers throughout the NW and further. I guess this kind of service is what is to be expected when large companies swallow smaller companies and then chip off the good parts when it comes to restructuring.I read recently that Kroger is consuming Albertsons and Safeway and another company. That makes sense. Fred Meyer went to pot when Kroger took over and it has been nothing but downhill ever since. That is when and why I quit working at Fred Meyer. At least when I shop at WinCo in the future I know before going in that I will be bagging my own groceries, and I don't mind. I also don't have to worry about WinCo getting bought out by some bigger company in the mid-west.

Then my Wife came to See this power tripping manager if you can call him Managment.End result John Stoffel got transferred and Demoted from his kicking and screaming brat attitude. The Seafood Manager didn’t do anything to clean EVER.!Store Manager. Also got called into office with wife and myself completely honest Safeways Managers always hit their goals for their bonuses because they take hours away From employees. And the Useless union say no more.

I am not one particularly for Reviews, but such a view requires me so. It is so rare now a days to find Good Mannered People with a Shining Attitude especially with all the predicaments in the World.Today I came in to order a few orders of Chicken for my family. A lovely lady "Cheron" was her name asissted me very well. She was very welcoming and kind. She spoke to me about our days and it was a very pleasant experience.Never in my life do I meet and experience lovely customer Service. This store now has my Loyalty and I will visit Cheron often.

Whoa, 9 pm on a Friday evening ..mobile carside panhandlers roaming around without enough courtesy to park and get out of the driving lane. Driving bmw SUV I can't believe some dude opened his wallet for them. Meanwhile paying customers are trying to weave their cars around these people.I nearly collided trying to avoid these people
