I don't like this Fred Meyer .. something about the layout and the weird lighting feels so uncomfortable and uninviting . However , it's pretty close and at times I have no choice but to begrudgingly come in .Location wise they are excellent and right off highway 99 , so very convenient . They do have well stocked aisles and the staff is friendly . The produce section is good , with most of the produce being fresh and there is a bit of variety as well . Plenty of self checkout counters and the staff is happy to help .

How do you run out of regular unleaded gas? On every pump today there was a sign saying they were out.

I have been shopping at Fred Meyer all my life and they are decent to deal with. They issue is the today and last time I wanted produce there the tomatoes were moldy. I mean, they advertise on TV that they're "Fresh". How does a package of cherry tomatoes get moldy if they're fresh. I couldn't find a produce person anywhere either. I look around and none of them look fresh. They have excellent meat and you can get some decent prices on other groceries but I won't buy produce there anymore unless I can see that they're paying attention and putting out fresh produce.

There's several things I dislike for 1 I'm tired of ordering on line pu and not getting what I ordered they substitute items not even close to what you ordered. It's so frustrating

Long lines staff can be rude and less then helpfull it seems to me that they feel put upon or your not paying for their services and their out of the kindness of their day to help you. Very sad state of affairs truly.

Long lines and staff that is less than helpful. This store has become too dependent on the "self-checkout" lines. Here's a thought, get back to the basics of customer service people.....been then you'd have to get off your butt and do something.

I have been shopping here for a few years and haven't had much of a problem until yesterday when I ordered groceries for curbside pickup. There was no clear signage as to where the pick-up parking spaces were. I was directed by an employee to a wrong area of the parking lot, which had a sign with an arrow pointing to a corner of the lot that was far from the pick-up area. I had to go into the store, and when I told another employee about the sign, he gave me an attitude. When I finally found the correct area and parked (which was in an obscure area on the far end of the garden center), I told the employee who brought out my groceries about the sign on the other end of the parking lot. She said there's nothing she could do and that it would be an issue with management. Very disappointing experience. I will not pick up my groceries at this location again.

We have been doing grocery delivery since the start of quarantine and it's been ok for the most part. But in the last few weeks every time we get produce it come rotten, moldy, and fowl. It's disappointing because I know Fred Meyers carries better produce than Safeway, and getting it in this condition is very telling. It tells me they are sending out produce they know to be old and rotten to get the sale, and as a loyal customer for years this is a slap in my face. We will no longer be using their delivery services and go with a company with more integrity.

I have never had a cake done by Fred Meyers. I usually use Albertsons or Safeway. I will never buy another cake from here! I paid to have this cake customly made and this isn't what it was supposed to look like and when I picked it up I noticed it was placed on the sheet all jacked up the frosting was patchy here and there. I was expecting it to have actually mounds on it that looked like dirt just like the picture. Pretty sad you make sure your displays look good but the customized cakes are horrible. Sadly I had to give thIs to a looked one.

This Fred Meyer is truly excellent and exceptional. I come here for work frequently. Their employees are helpful and courteous, their shelves are almost always freshly stocked, and they do their best to update their online customers when they no longer carry items. All of these things greatly help me as an instacart shopper, since I don't have to hassle or haggle about anything. Also, it's extremely helpful that they tell instacart what aisle everything is in. This makes it so that my shopping is quick, to the point, and I can get more orders to more customers. Even when I'm here on my own, it's very easy and the staff are so helpful. The stores layout is also nice, and they have pretty much anything I could need.

The store seemed to be better but I noticed the same exact people at the customer service that were supposed to have been fired months ago after I went through hell just trying to get a money order number to file for a lost/missing money order told me I had to have the receipt with the number on it so why would you bring in a receipt to get a number you already have it's stupid. An employee had sent me a yelp message apologizing all over the place and telling me to come back in to the store and the person I had all the trouble with lora lee no longer worked at the store but Marcia was still there who told me to come in and she would call western union for me then 10 minutes later when I got there and asked got a mad look on her face and said we can't help you because the manager Jen said not to help you. and some people were fired because of the sub-standard service they provided but when I just went back in there they were the same people that gave the terrible service back at the same desk pretty disappointing. don't ever buy a money order here.

Came here the other day for free Flu shot but sadly pharmacy was it was closed and it wasn't not big deal at all though. The only thing that upset me is there is a group of three staff just chatting around and all I need was a quick question. I tried to get one of the staff attention and then suddenly a rude blonde staff was very rude and says "what are looking for?" In a rude attitude! terrible costumer service! If you can't tolerate to help a costumer then why even bother to work in a retail store! :/

I really do not know where to start... This evening May 31st, 2019..I stopped to purchase a few items... Fred Meyers, In Longview, Wa..were having a BOGO on their chicken..(family packs)..I bought a pack of thighs..as well, as drumsticks.. I approached the check/out stand with a book..the chicken and a few other items.. The checker "Kristen"...seemed a bit frazzled..and when, I asked if, my book had rang up at 40% off..(the sale)...she huffed..as if it was an issue...I made mention of her attitude..as she said "I wish they would price these correctly...and I replied I wish the customer was not the one expected to bring it to the cashier's attention.. Anyway, my groceries were bagged..I went to my car..loaded my purchases...and looked over my receipt...I noticed I was charged for the thighs..(which I expected..but, also the drumsticks... I returned inside the store..and brought my receipt to Kristen..(The checker)...she glanced at it ..said, it was correct and showed it to her nearby coworker..she said it was correct also!.. I, then asked to speak with the manager..(Joy)...Joy looked at it and said it was correct too...(this is 3 people)..okay.. Feeling frustrated I returned to my car..got halfway home and pulled over and called to speak to the manager again! Joy told me to return, once again, to the store with said receipt...I told her I would but, was expecting to be compensated for all of this.. Sure enough, I was charged for the drumsticks!!!! Three people and a good half hour later..I left with the 9.75, they owed me for their error..and a 15.00 g/c (My compensation)....which I will use on gas..as I plan to never step foot in that store again.. I have been a loyal customer of Fred Meyers for 40 plus years...and this is not "by far"..the first time I have been required to return to the store for their error.... I guess, I could overlook this if, the customer service had been more congenial.... Joy, the manager...was helpful...but, It took me to get my money back!!! Anyway, Just felt the need to vent! I have been in customer service my entire life..and have never displayed the attitude the checker and her co/worker showed...

This has become the grocery store I always shop at after moving out here. It's smaller than other locations and a little older but the cashiers are always really friendly and helpful.
