I came here for some supplies after paying allot of money too save a rescue animal from sw haven human. After spending 40 for a small coat and toys for the dog i was told i dont love my animal less i pay for blue. After that statement i walked out and got the stuff at Safeway. Its good i dont live in clark county seeing this kind of greed.. Sad.

If I could give this a 0/5 stars, I would. I tried returning an online order and had the shipping confirmation number and slip for them to scan for any easy return. After a few minutes, the store manager who was doing the return for me, said that the return was declined. She told me to call the number that she printed out so I went back to my car in the parking lot to figure out how to return this item. The person on the phone said it was declined because I didn't provide a government ID (I was never asked this originally). So I go back inside to explain to a worker working at a different checkout stand. He goes through the same process and it gets declined again. He calls the manager who tells me to call the number AGAIN and say that the return process didn't even get to the part to look at the government ID. I called again and the person on the phone told me to try a different store... like what?! The person on the phone said it was a system error at this particular store and they can't help me with that. I'm probably wasting more gas trying to get this item returned. An item that is within their 30 day policy and I haven't used or opened at all. So weird how they couldn't override this on their computers, seems like it should be an easy process.

Store associate Jayden (sp?) provided horrible customer service. There was a sign for a bogo 50% off on the wellness brand cat food and when it rang up, the discount did not apply, when asked she said "it must be a old tag" rather than checking. I asked her if she was going to honor the price, she said no. I walked back to show her the tag and show that it was still active for two more weeks and she said that she would go ahead and honor it.Genuinely frustrating experience - I am confused why the initial response is no rather than checking. I would give this experience less than 1 star if I could.

Low on stock, sure wish they would get GOLDEN REWARDS chicken and Sweet potato and chicken tenders, also out of most Candaie food products totally out of canned food specifically salmon sweet potato, I like that the staff let's u shop around without asking u every 5 minutes if u need help. (I never ask for directions while driving lol).

Went to buy fish for my aquarium. I know very little about what kind of fish to get. The associate was very helpful in explaining what fish work best with different habitats and other fish in the same container.

Petco is not my favorite place. PetSmart always treats us better and usually has better pricing. Employees at Petco seem unhappy and one I have spoken with twice keeps complaining about customers coming in last minute especially on Christmas Eve. I still occasionally shop here as needed as they sometimes have things PetSmart doesn't.

Broke my dogs dewclaw during grooming and didn't bother to tell me until after I paid and tipped didn't even apologize. Thanks a lot Megan I will definitely not be taking him back to you.

I wouldn't waste the trip going to this location. Chances are whatever your looking for is still in boxes or wrapped up on a pallet. These things are in the middle of the store. Theyre close to the registers for everyone to see, trip over or try and maneuver around. These things have been there for at least 2 weeks that we know of. Zero help or customer service from anyone.

I want to like this store because they have two amazing employees here, but the others make it so hard to enjoy shopping here.We spent $100 on a beardie last night, today they’re only $50. When we asked if we can return her and buy her again (returns are allowed within 30 days) we were told yes by one employee. Then another employee tells us no that’s not allowed and we just have to deal with it.Per policy we can return her, and go to another store for a different one but we can’t bring home the same pet.They let us return other items that were 50% off yesterday and buy them again today for 75% off. So I’m not sure why they allow it with some purchases but not others. Very frustrating.They also never have the stock that they show online so you make trips to the store for no reason which gets annoying over time.

Kinda felt like I was walking into a rummage sale. Very strange to have a scoop your own litter. And like a buffet if dog treats without any sanitary precautions. Like didn't we just go through covid guys? Come on. There seem to be only two employees working in that entire building and only one check out person and I just felt very I don't know overwhelmed with how many cameras they had in the place like I wasn't planning on stealing anything obviously but just felt very overwhelmed with how many cameras they had in the place when there obviously wasn't anybody paying attention to them to my knowledge. Place felt kind of dirty and rundown

I have no complaints about the grooming my dog received. I am complaining about how rude one of the groomers was to me when I came to pick her up. Usually, you pick up the invoice, pay and bring the paid invoice back. Apparently, they had overbooked and they had "too many dogs" and the rude girl demanded I take her with me even though I told her that I needed to buy a leash and pay the grooming bill before I take her. I am 63 and walk with a cane and I told the rude girl I was having back pain at that time. (My dog will run to meet other dogs and I didn't want her to get away or pull me down). I explained all this. Absolutely not important to this young woman. She was very rude and I wasn't sure she would keep my dog or let her go. It would have taken no more than 5 minutes. In the end, the cashier took care of the invoice and helped me put the new leash on my dog. I have never experienced such cold and rude behavior from a groomer there. Never going back.10/1/22. EDIT / UPDATEOK. This was still bothering me today so I decided to go back to Petco to talk to the manager. The person I had the disagreement with was at the desk and I got her name. We exchanged a few words about what happened. I then went to the cashier and asked for the manager.i explained to her what had happened and that at the time I didn't know if the rude girl had groomed my dog and did not want to leave a tip. Since I now knew the rude girl didn't groom my dog I told the manager I wanted to tip the groomer and she walked with me to my car so I wouldn't have to come back in. Nice lady! I told her I would update this review and I will come back...although I will wait till the rude girl leaves ... she had given her notice prior to all this. Sorry for the long review.

My wife scheduled an appointment to get our dog groomed today about a month ago. Most groomers are booked out a whole right now and we have normally had a pleasant experience with Petco. Our daughter had unexpected health issues that are going to require an extended stay at the hospital which started yesterday. My wife called yesterday to advise Petco that due to the unforeseen circumstances she was unsure if we would be able to bring our Dog in. The person on the phone added notes into the system about this but stated they would keep the appointment the way it was. Fast forward to today, my wife was able to bring our dog in. The groomer was very rude and states that they saw the notes and didn't think she would make it. My wife, holding our other daughter (6 months old) in the baby carrier holding it together while our older daughter remains in the hospital with me, asks what time the grooming side closes. The person replies 6pm. My wife lets them know that someone else will most likely pick our dog up for us around then can she leave the leash. The groomer insensitively replies that she can not leave the leash and our dog has to be picked up when the groomer leaves at 4:30pm. Seriously?!? My wife offers to pay more for the extra time. Nope! Can't do it. You know, you never really know what someone is going through and how far kindness can go... but when you have the notes in front of you!!!! Make an effort to be human and empathize with other peoples situations. My wife still left this person a tip and did not want to say anything. When I heard my wife explaining this to me in tears I felt it should be shared. This will be our last time walking into or out of a PetCo....

My dog did not like them at all.They gave me the impression they didn't like huskies. Also lied to me that my dog was infested with fleas. they wanted me to pay extra for VIP dog grooming because they couldn't get him into a kennel.I took him to Frankcos and they had no problem with him at all.Trust your dogs.
