I've been using TurboTax for as long as I can remember. This year I had a unique financial situation, so I decided to hire somebody who could lessen the degree to which I got screwed on my taxes. Paul was perfect for me. I did not want to drive up to Vancouver. So we did everything by phone/zoom & electronically. Here is his process: I called Paul at a designated time, and we chatted for a bit. He then asked me some questions, and directed me to his online platform. Paul's tax prep "organizer" is awesome. Many of the same questions from our phone call were reiterated and then documentation for my answers requested immediately below. It made the process easy to understand and I could do it in bite-sized chunks. There is also a spot just to the right where you can see the full array of everything you've loaded so you don't have to scroll and peck to discover if you remembered to load a particular document. After I finished, I notified him and he came back with information that enabled me to save more on my return. Actually, that one piece of info ended up saving me a lot. Our wrap up zoom conversation was instructive and pleasant. Paul has the heart of a teacher, and he took me through the process step by step so I could see how all the calculations panned out. He also gave me information that will help for next year. I totally loved working with him and will absolutely recommend him to my friends.

We recently sold a house for the first time and wanted someone experienced that we could trust to submit our taxes and help us file. Paul was kind, responsive, and patient with our questions. He was also incredibly organized, and went above and beyond to help find the path that made the most sense for our family when filing our taxes. We were grateful for his consistent communication, and impressed at how quickly his responses were to our questions. Paul also helped us understand what we could be doing to prepare ourselves for the 2021 tax season, and we look forward for working with him for many tax seasons to come. 10/10 would recommend him to anyone wanting professional and efficient help with their taxes.

We needed expert tax service and Paul provided it. If you are looking for someone to handle your taxes for big or small situations, Paul is the one. He was thorough and thoughtful in preparing our taxes. We were not your every-day-Joe and he did any extra needed research to be sure we were getting them done right. Basically if you were feeling ignored by your tax prep service in the past like we were (and we were paying a lot to be ignored) come see Paul. A+
