I miss coming to this store because I love the selection of cards and unique gifts. I had a horrible experience several months ago and just can't bring myself to go back. Before this experience I would have given them a five-star review. I ordered a card for my dad's 90th birthday online. The card hadn't arrived two weeks later so I drove to the store and purchased the same card. When the online card finally arrived I took it to the store to return it. My mistake was not keeping my store receipt and instead bringing in the online receipt.
The salesperson acted very strangely and went to the back room to consult with someone else. Another person came out and told me only the manager could approve an online return and I would need to come back the next day since it was her day off. When I returned the next day the manager was out of the store and I was asked to come back later. I called the store the following day and the manager stated they don't take online returns even if they sell the exact same merchandise in store. If someone had told me that from the beginning it would have saved several trips, a phone call, and major frustration. So they lost my business over one birthday card. It's coming up on one year so maybe I'll give them a second chance.

It is like any other hallmark store the staff are friendly and if you need a card or gift it is a good store to start.
