Unfortunately had a horrible experience with my husband at this location. Which has really made a more negative impact in our business/work and community, being located so conveniently with my husband business and our office and home. Husband and I stopped in so he could purchase a tool or two and also rent equipment from them which we do all year around with our line of work and husband being in work clothes or “dirty” clothes and I being rough after full day with our kids and tons of work, when we start being followed and damn near watched or which felt like babysit by employees and what not. Also questioning my husbands credentials when going purchase and rent equipment and also wasn’t able to pull tools out of case to check them out. We were so embarrassed and blown away by the employees and there ways of treating a hard working man that doesn’t dress like keeping up with the joneses. We are sorry to say but will forever stay clear of the establishment and our 100k a year our company spends on tools and rentals and etc.

Came In to get a few things. While shopping I had to use the bathroom. I was standing waiting for them to be cleaned. I ask an employee that was passing by how long it was going to be until they were open. He replied the bathrooms are closed buy safeways are open. Well numb nuts I'm not shopping at safeway I'm I. Learn some customer service.

This store its self is not a good one. It's weird... I've been to a couple other Parkrose that were fantastic. First I was looking for some simple ant killer and saw a guy with a name badge and asked "hey sir do you work here" he said "it appears that way" super weird. Then he sent me to the wrong isle and knew nothing and just seemed strange. Had no knowledge where the product was and instead of looking, he just pointed and gave me the wrong place... Then got up to front and asked the lady at the register "do you offer veteran discounts" "yes!" She replied And stuck a thumps up in my face, rang me out and I asked did you add the discount? She then said "oh no I'm sorry want me to return and then add discount ". The entire time she was ringing me out she was talking with other people. As if I wasn't even there. This is what led to her forgetting literally 5 seconds after talking about it. Though, I do have to give her some credit for attempting to problem solve, I just wanted to leave at that point having wanted to just run in and grab something. The employees either seem not to care about customer service or just simply don't want to be there. Obviously there is a lot more to it and more strange parts to the story but I'm trying to keep it short yet informative. Straight up! Super awkward store. Literally, go anywhere else but here. Zero chance I'll be back.

Some of the most inflated prices I've seen since the inflation began. But I guess you need inflated prices to support the extra staff you have walking around like prison guards 10 minutes before you close yelling a count down to closing time. ?Edit to add: after writing my review I read the others... this is not new, terrible customer service and rude employees are just what you get here for the high prices you pay. Been that way for years. I'm not even sure how you do that, find that many rude people that it has been going on for years... I'll shop elsewhere. ?

This place is worth the extra five minutes to bypass Ace Hardware on Hwy 99. The people actually care about their customers and HAPPILY help you find things. The prices are better and they have 10X the inventory. They are far far better than Home Depot for fasteners. If you need to fix something, this is the place to go.

Can't thank Travis enough for his help today making it possible for us to finish up a very special wagon. The wagon had been modified so it needed new hardware, as well as some being lost. Not only did he find the hardware we needed so that we could be on time for the delivery at Embrace Compassion Farm(farm for children fighting cancer) he took it upon himself to pay for it and wouldn't take our payment..he said it was going for a good cause. Thank you Travis I hope your employer knows what a treasure you are. We got the wagon there, and it went immediately into use.

The employees at this store is rude for no reason at all. The older lady that works at the register sometime needs a big chill pill. She angry about something every time i come in this store. I'd rather drive all the way to Home Depot then deal with crazy behavior.

When I specifically ask the hardware associate to not waste a plastic bag on the ONE 85 cent part I'm buying and they force my hand and pull off a bag and write the price on it despite my protests it feels like a violation. How can you ask someone at a place of business to not do something and they force themselves on you anyway? It's so infuriating. Not to mention wasteful. Management needs to get a clue and provide a way for customers to buy a small hardware item and not involve a plastic bag. When I self-help back in hardware I take pictures of prices and write them in my phone. It's up to a customer to not steal or give the wrong price at the register, this insistence of wasteful bagging doesn't prevent a thief from stealing and it doesn't help an honest customer who is trying to not be wasteful
