I have been a long time customer of this facility, 14 years, two 10x20 units. Over the years I have seen my part of the facility get very run down. For three years I’ve been complaining about my garage doors not closing smoothly and sticking in the tracks. I hear the excuse that it’s a 48 year old building, but they are charging 2024 rates. If I went in line today I could rent my unit for $20 less a month!!
Recently I found that the iron framework for the garage door had pulled loose from the cinder block. A repair person came the next day and “Jerry rigged” some new bolts, but there was still a considerable gab between the cinder block and iron frame. Now the door sticks badly and I have to step in the handle to get it to close completely so I can lock the unit. Even though I told two people in the office about the poor repair, the district manager said no one told her!
I’ve completely moved out of one unit. I’ll be out of the 2nd by the end of May.
The new tenant in my old unit parks his car in front of the unit and hangs out during the day with his dog and the door closed to about a foot from the ground.
This place is going downhill fast

I began renting a unit in January this year, as my son has rented a unit here for several years. I spent a lot of time working with, and corresponding with, Tanya, and have been so impressed with her customer service, friendliness, and help throughout. She is a great representative of the company, and I would highly recommend her, and Orchards Center Self Storage. Give that girl a raise!! ?

Went in to get a unit I reserved for today; after packing all day I lost track of time, I called about 8 minutes to closing time to tell them I was coming & the wonderfully pleasant staff was so amazing, not only was she super nice & accommodating even though I arrived at closing time, she stayed late to help me, with a smile on her face & a very friendly and professional manner, she was so wonderful & it made my experience even better during this stressful time. The prices were also good, location was great, and they allow you into your unit until 11pm, which is so great. Thank you guys so much. It was definitely a pleasant experience!

The one star is for security but that security comes with a side of demeaning attitude and dismissive personality. The property manger was extremely rude and treated me like a degenerate when I was trying to access the building when my friend was inside moving. He's extremely excited to verbalize he's the property manager at the location and after refusing you assistance or helpful information he hopped in his car and drove away leaving me to stand outside with my thumb up my @**Storage units are small and damp with too many areas not protected by security camera coverage. Do yourself a favor and protect your storage items at a facility that cares for you and your items and not a facility where employees are hopped up on the power of a job title with no substance to actually fulfill their role.

This facility is a great place for storage, the staff is super friendly , very professional and always round to help and assure you that your things are in a safe place. I just got my second unit with them this week ad the young lady that helped me was very helpful and I never would of thought she was new but I later found out it was her first day. Best storage place ever , no joke.Thank you guys

I just wish someone was there to finally return the lock that they made me purchase he told me if I had one I could use it but suggested I buy one and that I could return it but there's no one ever there to return it and get my 20 bucks back

The staff here is awesome, prices are reasonable and the gate hours are longer than most places. In the past 7 years of having a storage this is the best place I have been at.
