This is the first time and last time I will go to this office depot. I came in to drop off a FedEx package. It had been a long day and my daughter had surgery and I had to get a package out for a family member. I go back to the print center/FedEx center and there are signs hanging up back there stating that they are shortstaffed and therefore the print center is closed. It would've taken them two seconds to scan my package, it was already labeled. No signs outside the door stating that it was closed either. So I wasted a trip inside for nothing. While I understand they were short staffed, I wish these places would do better with putting up signage.

Definitely my last experience with Office Depot. I walked in to ship something out of the print center, and was completely disregarded and disrespected by the assistant store manager (Truman). Clearly demonstrated an unprofessional attitude with regard to not only assisting me (or lack thereof) in the print center, but not wanting to do anything whatsoever from the start.It's one thing to not be able to ship certain items due to what you can legally ship- totally get that. It's quite another to say that you won't ship it because you don't have a return address for the label. Even a hotel address wasn't sufficient. It was evident that Truman didn't want to help me, nor wouldn't despite the efforts of his print employee who actually made an effort to explain things (before Truman interjecting his position). Yet this is apparently how the customer is treated in 2023.Highly recommend not using this Office Depot location, and to strongly consider other options and competitors.Update: I had a very good phone call on 3/16/23 with the district manager (Thomas Crawford) regarding what happened. I really believe that he is sincere in resolving any issue, even during a time of management & employee transition with this store. I 100% believe that he was sincere, and I certainly hope that this store improves in providing customers with viable solutions, and not viewing others as insignificant when it comes to shipping needs.This phone call made all of the difference.

Tried to place a print order online but after uploading my file, customizing my order and reviewing the proof, I could not add to cart and the website erased my work. Perhaps I needed to be logged in to my member account? Did it again. No luck. Called this location - the nearest to my work - and asked if their print center was open. They said yes. I arrived to the store about an hour later and was told the print center was shut down for the day (it was only 11:30AM!). Evidently the only employee capable of running the printers was leaving in a half hour. I asked if they could plug in my flash drive and hit go because it was a simple order. They said no because they had other jobs to run before leaving. I was directed to the self-service printer. As I place my order for 200 copies, the machine tells me there is a $75 transaction limit. I asked a staff member if they could override the limit since I had a fair sized order. They said no and explained that I would need to complete my order multiple times. I asked again if they could just plug in my flash drive on their employee printer and hit go so I didn't have to deal with this ridiculous self-service transaction limit. They said no and suggested that I run my order on multiple self-service copiers to speed up the pace. So I printed 30 copies full-color front and back rotated on the flip on 11x17 for $72.60. I did this SIX times and then a seventh for 20 copies. My card was charged each time and a receipt sent to my member account email. At the end of perhaps the fourth transaction, an order receipt was printed with a message that said for me to present the paper to the cashier. Since I wasn't done with my full order yet, I kept printing and folding. Once completed with the final transaction, I took the order receipt to the cashier and was told I didn't pay for one of my $72.60 transactions. I said I paid for all of them and showed them my email receipts. I was handed off to another employee who told me that the machines were acting up today because of the solar flares and perhaps I had noticed my cable television acting up. Huh? After defending all seven of my transactions and walking through the math with this employee, he told me I needed to pay the $72.60 on the receipt. I should have just crumpled up that piece of paper and walked out but finally a sensible employee came over, heard my plea and released me from that nightmare of an experience. To sum it up: I paid nearly $480 for the privilege of entering seven unique transactions artificially limited to eliminate any bulk order discounts on copies, was told "no" to multiple requests to ease my customer experience and then was challenged on my integrity because a supposed solar flare was causing issues with the printers. What a racquet. Never going back here again.

Terrible place to shop. Employees will not help if you don't comply to all of their covid restrictions. They start to follow and harass you around the store if you don't wear a mask or wear it correctly in their eyes, fyi wearing masks are not part of a law and being medically exempt, releases you from wearing a a mask. Never supporting this business again.

Bruce was really great providing providing excellent customer service. He walked me through my printer purchase and let me know the pros and cons about which printers as well as the purchase price of ink cartridges. I felt like I was able to walk away reassured with my purchase thought process. Definitely someone who cares about the customer versus just the final price tag.

Paid to have 14 pages faxed and only 10 were actually faxed. I got a called from company I was sending info to saying my application was incomplete due to those missing pages and a few others were to distorted to see, there for they could not be uploaded to my account. I called office depot and they said sometimes the fax machine acts up and occasionally the papers will stick together. I ended up having to email my application in order to have the papers in on time but now I have to work on getting a refund. I paid $25 to have things faxed with bad quality and missing pages.

We bought our computer desk here for our new home! It was a bit of a wait before we received it but no complaints about the quality and workmanship? But the wait is expected considering these odd times we find ourselves now living in? The desk is Cherrywood and looks great in our office which actually is the 3rd bedroom of our new home now a office? 'Thank you;

We were just at Office Depot in Vancouver WA & had the best help, information & insights from Lester! He genuinely knew his products & understood where we were coming from in ( not pushy like some sales clerks)purchasing a computer that would meet our needs! He also knew exactly what we were looking for when BBC transferring video to CD!! Thank You Lester!!

This store is so frustrating. I'd give it one star for the way it's managed and the work ethic of the employees but I'm sure it's not all the employees so I can bring myself to do it. BUT, though they are there for when I need to purchase pens and paper, every single time I need printing done it's either turns into "oh we can't do that" or the famous basic print job "can't be done today". There has been multiple emails back n forth just trying to get them to understand basic knowledge on what I need. When I say basic I mean basic. We've had wrong prints we've had sour attitudes and we have just lazy customer service from this location. I called the Office Depot in Salmon Creek and they immediately took care of everything. Every time this store fails, Hazel Dell location steps up. I won't be back and it's worth the gas to drive to the other location for quality work. But hey! If I need buy paper or pens, I might swing by...

I've never had issues with shipping and printing at Office Depot until recently when one of the sales assistant, Melissa made a scene to ship my visa. I noticed management doesn't seem to notify all of their workers on procedures and rules, and I hope this review notifies them that they need to train their employees on how the shipping/printing management operates.

Melissa was wonderful and incredibly helpful. She was great with multitasking and acknowledging all customers while they waiting for help.

This store is well organized. I was able to find everything myself. While all the employees discussed something. It was totally fine considering they have signs for everything. They also had a few things that I didn't realize they carry. I found a Amazon Fire stick here! It was so convenient and I didn't have to wait for it! I just went to go pick it up! I appreciate these stores! They keep me organized and up to date on computer gadgets and office supplies!
